Luck only played 6 games against quality opponents last year. Really 3 if you believe that Houston and Minny wasn't really that good last year.

They played Chi, NE, GB, Minny, and Houston x2

Everyone else was beyond terrible

 

Luck already beat SF and Seattle, two of the top teams in the league this season. Well, I'm tired of this debate.

I would've picked Cam over the others if they all came out the same year.

Cam dominated the SEC. I've never seen any player, in any sport, at any level dominate like that. The closest thing would probably be Jordan in the Finals.

No football fan can honestly look themselves in a mirror & say Cam isn't good. The hate he garners is just like LeBron/Tiger.

Tell me about it. It is tiring reading people say stupid shyt all the time. I read it for a week every time Cam doesn't score more than two TDs in a game

Lucks 2-14 team was in the playoffs the year before. They were only that bad because they had the worst backup QB in the nfl. Worse than clausen and far worse than Moore.

If by "the table would turn the opposite way" you mean that Cam would be in the playoffs in Indy then I agree.

 

Cam in the Playoffs and Luck with a 15-22 record, Luck would be considered better than Cam still. Only happens with Carolina fans.

Really? Colts fans are really that stupid. I questioned Cam's longevity as a Panther due to Gettleman, but at least I never call for him to be traded.

Once the Colts got to the playoffs Luck didn't play all that well, and contributed to their loss. He was 28/54 for 288 yards with 0 TD's, 1 INT, and 1 fumble lost. Of course this wasn't talked about by the media, and quickly brushed under the rug never to be spoken of.

Seriously though, Newton is far superior to them. I don't give a rat's ass about prototypical QB, poise, intangibles, or any of the other crap analysts use to "grade" QB prospects. Watch the games.

Luck, RG3, Kaepernick, and Wilson all got their ass kicked at some point playing far inferior competition. Cam played in the SEC and slaughtered everyone in his path. He was like a smiling bionic robot from Hell sent to Earth to destroy the NCAA.

      Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game

      I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
