Something I noticed about the toughest two game stretch on the schedule

Don't we play more teams coming off a bye than any other team in the NFL? The schedule makers really hate us, at least that's what I assume based on the past few years.

look at seattle's schedule. they may as well have two bye weeks. Thursday night game, then play again 11 days later on a Monday. Then their actual bye week, they have an extra day as their first game back is also on a Monday.

If we spank the bux on the road, and then demoralize alt. at home, we will be 5-3, on a 4 game roll, going into SF, their 6-2 record, with their Super Bowl aspirations, coming off a bye, and play in the NFCW. to start the second half of the season.

It may only be 1 road game. But it could be one of those trademark defining moments type deals. If, Zod forbid, we come out of SF with the win. We are 6-3. Or 1-0 in the 2nd half of the season, for those of us who follow those things. We will be in the thick of all things Championship.

If we lose? So what? Losing on the road is not the worst thing in the world. It is after all, called "Home Field Advantage" for a reason.

I already count the Pats as a Home Win. So beating the 9ers, would be huge in my world. The longer we elude that 4th loss, the better.

Our main weapon as to the playoffs, at this point in the season, is our having only 3 losses is huge. If the playoffs started this weekend, we would be playing. Yup, you heard that right.

Ahh, the schedule makers. They are a WTF? lot. Look at our schedule, then look at your example. Pretty obvious, to me anywho, that all schedules are not created equal.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
