NFC Championship Game is gonna be tough. Seattle is basically a Carolina clone in the stats.

A lot of football to be played, but do want, do want, DO WANT those SOB's in the NFC Championship Game.  Without Cam's throw in the dirt last year, and DeAngelo's fumble, Olsen's drops, Beason's missed tackle, etc. this year, we beat them the last two years.  We owe them for 2005 and the law of averages (not to mention the fact that we're a MUCH better football team right now than we were) will come around.  I do not see their home field advantage greater than the dome in St. Louis in 2003 when they had all those weapons and a 2 year home win streak.  DO WANT SEATTLE.

PS-they still have @SF, @NYG, ARI, STL to play after their Monday night game, so while they clearly have the inside track to the #1 seed, they have work to do yet.

I don't want to have to play it in Seattle either. Anyone know if this would get us the #1 seed?

-NO beats Seattle

-Seattle loses no more games afterwards

-We run the table

Long odds, but could happen

If the Hawks only lose once more this season..  they'll only have 2 losses on the year,  ending 14-2.  Even if we run the table,  the best we can do is 13-3.     Hawks will still have the #1 seed.

We would have to win out and they'd have to lose three more.  NO, @SF, @NYG, ARI, STL.

Damn that a hard road. IMO they could drop 3 or more if not careful. NO,SF are no joke and the rest are not push overs. SEA is a good team but they have been beating up on some bad teams of late.

Yeah, they're not stupid. They do have a strong, balanced team and a great home field advantage, but when compared to prior NFC Champions in the annals of football history, a second year Russell Wilson and this cast of Seahawks do NOT scare me. If THEY are all that stands between us and destiny? Bring 'em on.

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
