Yes I am quietly praying that Irvin is the next Kris Jenkins, player wise of course. Honestly I have high hopes for all of our DEs. I think Brayton could surprise some people, he's great against the run and another year in our system at the same position(for once) should do him some good.

Wouldn't that be a steal if Irvin can come in and perform half as well as Jenkins did. As for Brayton, people don't see that he was stout against the run even getting double teamed. Had four 1/2 sacks to boot. Coupled with Johnson they added up to 10 1/2 sacks which puts them up there with most left ends in the league. Hopefully they will both improve this year and increase the pressure they generate. Hopefully Brayton worked on his upper body strength and his moves in order to improve his technique. That can be worth as much or more than strength alone.

      It depends on what version of bad we are getting. Can't have the locker room tearing apart over it.

      I think that depends more on how high our pick is. If we have the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick i think we are drafting a QB rather than shopping FA market for a QB1. Curious if we’d be reluctant to start a rookie QB week 1 though.

      Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
