I can't believe we wasted a 3rd rounder on this guy. He was a projected 5-6th rounder.

Yeah...I think you have mentioned that about 57 times since draft day. I don't care what you say though, I'm giving the guy the benefit of the doubt until he proves to me that he can't play in the NFL.

For those of you with ESPNU, they're showing Alabama vs Georgia at midnight. It's from last season, so it's one of the few chances any of us will have to get a look at Corvey Irvin for a whole game.

I remember that game. Georgia's defense didn't really show at all, until the second half. They were down 31-0 at halftime.

That's your prerogative, but I know for a fact that the group of men that drafted the guy have about 100 more years of combined experience at this sort of thing than you and I do, therefore the guy deserves the benefit of the doubt in my book. Besides that, I just don't see the sense in bitching about it until he's proven himself one way or the other.
