I'd like to thank the Carolina Panthers for the best season of my life and Ron Rivera for becoming the coach we needed and the coach we have always wanted. Who really thought after starting 1-3 the Panthers would win 11 of the last 12? I'm proud of every single player on our roster and everyone on the coaching staff, Damn fuging proud. You know what else? I'm proud of the fans. We are finally beginning to have a loud and energetic crowd at BoA. Feeling the stadium shake beneath my feet when Hixon caught the game winner against the Saints was awe inspiring. I'm also proud to call myself a huddler. I think this forum is doing wonders for the Charlotte sports community. Love me or hate me I think of everyone... errr most of you guys as brothers and sisters. So I give a huge thanks to Zod and the community that runs it. You know what's different about this season than the 96' 03' 05' and 08' playoff seasons? We have a top 5 defense coming back and we have a stud franchise QB. This team will be a power house in the NFC for years to come. Many more playoff appearances are on the horizon folks.

Thank you Carolina Panthers & Fans for making this an amazing season. I just can't wait until next season to see Cams big smile again.

if rivera isnt smart enough to do it he needs to be upgraded as well

I completely disagree. Look where RR got us this season. I can't completely judge Shula until I see how the team does with a few new offensive weapon.

    • We won't know the answer to this for a long time. Reality is, Caleb has been the consensus #1 in that draft for years. Bryce was a similar situation, but mostly the same. He was not the clear and obvious #1 that Caleb was, but most teams had Bryce at QB1. The Panthers were always going to be terrible Bryce's rookie year.  I don't think DJ Moore's presence would have changed anything about that offense, as our guards, center, and left tackle were getting demolished on nearly every snap. It's clear Caleb's dad was trying to do everything possible to ensure Caleb didn't end up in Chicago with Eberflus. It's hard to imagine that he wouldn't have done the same, but probably more publicly with our situation, considering Carolina is an easier target for the media than Chicago. We can all speculate, but it's impossible to tell who is going to have the better career on May 16, 2025. If either QB doesn't pan out, we have an easy answer. If both flame out, the bears clearly won the trade, but it wouldn't have really mattered anyway. We all know how we win the trade. Candidly, even if one of the other picks we gave up ends up being a hall of fame player, we don't know if the panthers would have taken that player anyway. All you can do is make the best decision you can in the moment with the information you have. I really like Bryce Young, and I'm glad he's a Carolina Panther.  The only way to win in the modern NFL is to have an absolute dude at QB. I personally am happy that our franchise recognizes this, as I remember times when they did not.
    • This year, there's been enough positive talk from core players, free agents, and coaches to where I believe the culture building and momentum is more important than fighting for a worse record.
