Hope he agrees to a reduced contract.  Coming off an injury, it may be necessary for him to continue playing in the league.  I think he would be great depth or he could compete at SS.  He has experience at both.

 

Yeah I'm all for him sticking around if he's looking healthy enough to compete (depth is always a plus). We're on the hook for 2.1 million in bonuses this year.. drop him down to minimum as a prove it deal that way no dead money accelerates. This would be win win -- savings similar to june 1 cut, another roster spot filled, 1 less contract to have to sign with new money
