I know he's slow with a 4.61 but dude has huge upside! Extremely physical and good size! Wilks is the man I think this kid flying under the radar could be a good get in the 3rd or 4th round! Also looking at the giants draft history:

2007- Aaron Ross(1st round)

2008- Terrell Thomas (2nd round)

2011- prince amukamara(1st round)

2012- Jayron Hosley (3rd round)

There seems to be a trend with drafting CBs early with big upside. Would personally love this pick! Watching him blitz and some of the athletic plays he made wows me! Plus he's was a solid returner for the Gators!

I think a big thing for corners is how many mistakes he makes in coverage. Highlight videos are great and everything but you can put one together of Josh Norman too. Norman has the upside but he also has an extremely low floor... when you give the other team 2-3 chances to score on you off a big play you won't see the field.

I agree totally with this I just put the tape in there for effect, I got the chance to see him quite a bit because I'm a huge fan of the sec....he had great games against FSU and LSU. He has a great motor and going from WR to cb and playing at that level shows work ethic!

Purifoy is below average in zone. I don't know if he'll thrive in our system.

I feel we're forced to play that tired zone more than nesssecary due to how bad our corners have been! Corners that could actually get a forceful jam on WRs and disrupt them off their routes and not get burnt like firewood every time they are asked to play man to man bump and run would provide an even better advantage for our beast front 7

I don't know to be honest. Rivera and McDermott are a fan of zone schemes. Zone tends to prevent the big play from transpiring. That said, Purifoy is a good tackler and we could see more man-to-man in the near future. We run hybrid formations anyway. In my honest opinion however, Fuller makes more sense.

Is be happy with either pick honestly I'm all down for taking a solid secondary player early!

The highlights duration is interesting.

And 4 minutes is nice.
