No one has said joint practice is more important. I’ve said coaches are using joint practices to get their starters reps and giving them less reps on the preseason games because of this. They are both just a tool for the staff to shape their depth chart and brush off some of the offseason rust.

I haven't come to a point of taking this source all that seriously yet.

Stupid. Take the pick and use it to add a cheap rookie next year or package it to try and acquire some LB depth. If Bryce Young taking the next step as a first overall pick hinges on 35 year old Adam Thielen he's already cooked.

There is a ton of regular season game tape of Bryce Young looking just as flustered and skittish as the way he did in preseason against the Texans so if your position is it's irrelevant well that's too bad because sorry the word is already out to every defense we'll face.
