  1. Past hour
  2. I think I abandoned most of those years ago. Hotmail, yahoo, etc. Too many security leaks.
  3. The point being if AT is the most effective, he should play. By all means, hopefully the young guys beat him out but until that happens, I don't think throwing the whole offense into the hands of a largely unproven and inexperienced group is necessarily the best idea for anyone's development. Ultimately, that's the FO and coaches decision, for better or worse. They seem to be wanting to stick with AT for at least one more year.
  4. It is a weird situation. They are refusing to pay Hendrickson, but their asking price is obviously high enough they know other teams won't meet it. They obviously want to be in this holding pattern. I think this definitely plays into the regular season. The Bengals are betting Hendrickson will cave at some point to their offer. Hendrickson will probably have to sit out until the trade deadline if he really wants to force their hand. And at that point, I'm doubtful the Panthers would be interested. Next year according to everyone that covers the team is going to be the year they out their chips coming to the middle. I think if Hendrickson were going to happen here, it already would have happened.
  5. I still do but only for stuff that requires an email account that I'll never have to check but once for a verification code. The rest of the time it sits and collects junk mail.
  6. It's year 3 for Bryce Young. I mean it is about Bryce Young....but saying having AT rostered or not is some key factor in what BY will do or not doesn't sell with me. we literally just moved on from BY last year. I mean, people forget that is the reality of last year. Him getting the chance he did to "comeback" wasn't really in the plans of Carolina. They sort of are now stuck with this let's see year 3 of Bryce Young scenario. Which presents a really bad scenarios going forward. Getting stuck w/ a QB you don't really want and you know just doesn't have the ceiling. So to me, I just don't see the argument of having AT eat up the reps and looks he gets. Developing and targeting our younger guys is way more important than AT's fantasy volume....and AT hogging up the oxygen in our O keeps the ceiling low. If you have BY, you don't need AT types. Again, it's year 3. Training wheels can't stay on for him. He either can ride or he can't.
  7. Jesse Welles is an interesting cat. I see his videos and think he's too young to see things the way he does, but then I ask myself how old were Pete, Woodie, Bob, and so many more
  8. I legit still know people that use hotmail for some reason. Blows my mind.
  9. Nah, it is about Bryce. That is the most significant thing going on with the franchise by a massive margin. Followed probably by Ikey and maybe Horn. XL being a bust, doesn't matter. TMac not working out, that would matter but it's year 1. Bryce has such a massive impact on the future plans of this franchise, he is overwhelmingly the most important factor.
  10. Dave and really Rhule.....were both billed as motivators. But they seem to be on the lite side of that spectrum. Rhule was more buffoon. Dave seems more buttoned up optimist than really your inspirational motivator (but I'm not sure that is really a NFL thing). The inspirational motivator is really more a college thing and one that might largely pre-date NIL IMO.
  11. what else is a coach supposed to say about his quarterback? I think that's largely just a coach that accepts his QB isn't a barker. They are still going to talk glowingly about one that plays well or that they are heavily invested in.
  12. he sounds weird. maybe ask him for his hotmail address and we can send him some more detailed info.
  13. The bengals dgaf about that. It’s their OL. They’ll sign Edmund Kugbila and call it day.
  14. well, I mean, we could just close the doors.. But yeah, developing our young players is what teams do. This is the window where dudes like AT get cut for the young dudes to take over on other teams. AT is vastly overrated IMO. It's just volume and fantasy stats. He is out there doing small TE work in a position we need a lot more out of. If BY fails, it's not because AT isn't on the field in 2025. The BY pick is just a failure. And this is the season/time for that to be answered IMO.
  15. it's year 3 for Bryce. So yeah, I just wany my young WRs hogging reps. Not AT. We are at the stage now where it's about focusing on others not named Bryce. If Bryce can't do it in year 3 and keep growing with a cast he is largely very familiar with (and that is minus AT).....then it's just a BY issue.
  16. Also, the more Oline injuries around the league makes me think the Panthers are both fielding calls about potential trades, and I also think this increases the chance the Panthers keep a 10th offensive linemen. Could be a trade piece. Regardless, Oline depth around the league is abysmal, and this is hopefully going to be a strength for this team. Personally, I would be ecstatic if we could trade our 10th Olinemen for ILB or S depth
  17. It will be interesting to see how playing time is split tomorrow night. Bartholomew has been running with Thornton & the 2nd unit. Evans has been with the 3s. But, he does have significantly more starting & playing experience. I also think Mike Reid could make the 53 (or a waiver claim) as the backup nickel behind Chau Smith-Wade since most of the CBs project more as outside CBs. IMO, Jaycee, Mike Jack, CSW, & Thornton are locks. The final spot(s) will be interesting. I think there is also a decent possibility we bring in a veteran CB after Week 1 (salary not guaranteed).
  18. They lost Will Clapp (one of their top reserve Olinemen for the year). I think one of their starters might miss Week 1. Tristan Wirfs is going to miss a few games for the Bucs to start the season. We need a fast start, and hopefully good luck on the injury front after several years with bad luck.
  19. My PCBoard BBS with a Fidonet connection and Doors games and would blow their mind Trade Wars 2002 and BRE!!
  20. Today
  21. We don't have an 8th in 2028. That is the last remaining pick we owe Chicago for the Bryce Young deal.
  22. He mentioned the Panthers would be receiving a conditional 8th round draft choice in the 2028 NFL draft
  23. I feel the same way but I might be thinking Saints, they've had some OL injuries as well
  24. Happened last offseason too. It's just part of it. Hell, we had CMC, Donte Jackson and D. Brown all basically have that happen after inking big deals.
