  1. Past hour
  2. The belief among insiders, beat writers, etc is pretty much universal that they'll pick up the option. As far as any sort of competition, wouldn't hold my breath
  3. Yeah, I think old man Arch basically git caught doing a Jim Mora "playoffs" reaction to fielding a question about Arch entering the draft? "Draft?! You wanna ask me about the NFL and this kid??? I just hope he can play decent at the college level."
  4. Explains the Tua reference in this week's NFL MEETING video (via Annie Agar)
  5. He’ll clear waivers and get to New England and win Super Bowl mvp somehow
  6. Giving Jaycee a lot of poo for a TD pass that was a finger width away from being a deflection
  7. 19 tackles and 0 sacks for a D that's overall slightly worse than ours. Dude is completely washed.
  8. I think they like pedigrees when the output also matches. I get the idea of liking a pedigree because you should expect the preparation for the NFL should be exceptional. To date, I have seen very little of that with Manning. If anything, he looks like he has been very protected from having to actually play at a high level until this past season. And the results were not good. I think grandpa let the cat out of the bag when he spoke out of turn. My guess is that the Manning clan also internally is very aware that he isn't anywhere near being ready for the NFL.
  9. Since losing in the AFC Championship in 2022, Joe Burrow is 17-15 the last 3 seasons He wanted Cincy to pay Chase and Higgins. They did. They scored 0 points Sunday and Burrow has thrown some horrible interceptions the last 2 weeks A QB always needs a good team around them. Stafford going from Detroit to La is a great example
  10. Far more concerning than anything is Jaycee Horn at this point. Between him and Bryce and the resources we have tied up in both of them the inability to perform at a high level against a rebuilding Saints team is just........
  11. Sign him up. I doubt he has any interest here but he can't be that much worse than some of the bums we keep trotting out there.
  12. I like Shaq but I'm not going to delude myself into believing he wouldn't be out there whiffing on tackles too. Is he an upgrade over Rozeboom? Yeah but at 31 he was never going to save this linebacker room.
  13. This is actually not true. Reference the following stats from NFL NGS for 20+ yard throws. 2023: 9 of 38 for 312 Yds, 0 TD, 0 INT. 61.29 QB Rating. 2.375 20+ attempts per Game. 2024: 16 of 43 for 493 Yds, 5 TD, 2 INT. 100.24 QB Rating. 3.58 20+ attempts per Game. 2025: 13 of 30 for 397 Yds, 6 TD, 3 INT. 90.28 QB Rating. 2.30 20+ attempt per Game. He is actually at career lows on shots downfield(20+ yards) per game. He has been less productive in that regard than in 2024, even with 1 less game played(so far).
  14. Very unsurprising news unfortunately. This is why I largely go out of my way not to watch any non Panthers games. This league despises the Panthers. Anyways. This team and specifically this offense is going nowhere until we get a QB who A) doesn't throw an unacceptable number of poorly placed balls and B) doesn't need everything from top to bottom to go perfectly in order to succeed at looking like a marginal top 20 QB.
  15. No cut puts you in cap hell for years. You either eat it in one fell swoop or you divide it over two years with a post-June 1st designation.
  16. From what I've read, that would put them in cap hell for years
  17. The NFL gets a hard on about pedigrees and pedigrees don't come any higher than a Manning at QB. If he looks significantly improved next year I'm sure they'll largely overlook this year vs. struggling to reconcile Bama Hurts and OU Hurts.
  18. Tremble takes the snap with DB leading the way. Tommy likes to hit people and DB is a force. Win win
  19. It's funny but Old Man Rivers was a sidearm thrower. It's an outlier but I don't think it will keep him out of the NFL.....IF he actually develops. The fact he is this far behind in his development while being given every advantage possible is maybe one of the biggest red flags I have ever seen for a prospect. All I can say is that he better look like Mendoza in 2026.
  20. It depends on what the 2027 Draft looks like, I suppose. There are some potentially good younger QB's in the mix(kid from Washington comes to mind) so I think it will depend on what the 2026 Browns look like and what that 2027 Draft Class looks like.
  21. They’re not boxed into anything. They can cut or trade him and never look back. if they start Bryce in 2026 it’s a choice they make.
  22. That throwing motion is fuging hilarious. I called him Uncle Rico literally in his first start. He throws just like Uncle Rico. It's wild.
