Guess the starters will play next week. -

I’m not crazy about these slow-developing pass play calls with a lousy OL performance, no hands and a jittery Qb. -

Decent drive at best by Houston. If you gotta go for it on fourth down to score against this defense I’m not impressed. -
I don't think that fact irks anyone, because it's not a fact. 5 TD, 11 INT, 6.4 YPA and a 63.9 QB rating actually make him one of the worst Panthers QBs the last several years, if not THE worst. The love affair people have with him is definitely something, though.

PJ Walker's stats are irrelevant to some. As long as he's playing it seems there are people clamoring for him to be on this roster.

Love how you have infinite patience for XL but gave up on Kon Knueppel after the first half of his first preseason game. Never saw a "Surprise! Tet looks really bad!" thread after he dropped a TD pass.

Play your way into a better ranking, or expect more of the same.

If you squint hard enough, Cade Mays looks like this guy.

Xavier Legette's two-piece combo deserved a good grade.

Mitch Evans is a rookie tight end for the Panthers. I was referring to Mitch Evans. He read "Mike Evans" and went off on a tangent.

You tried to dunk on me, but all you did was prove you're illiterate and you don't know your own team.

Mitch Evans catches every ball thrown his way.

Winners and Losers: Preseason Game 1

Actually, I take that back. Nick Scott was just as much to blame there. I don't feel like editing it again. -
Winners and Losers: Preseason Game 1

Leaving out Young is pretty wild. Winners: Jalen Coker, Bryce Young, Nic Scourton, Corey Thornton, Tetairoa McMillan, Sam Martin, JJ Jansen, Ryan Fitzgerald Losers: Trevor Etienne, OL, most of the defense and anyone who watched all 60 minutes Etienne helped gift ESPN its highlight for the next 9 days. -
only if he's a UDFA.

It's a preseason game, but...losing is not an option.

I think that's a reasonable expectation for a perennial title contender. For a cellar-dweller, you set the bar too high and you constantly are disappointed. It was a great drive that led to a TD. It had a 30-yard bomb from Bryce to Tet and a third-down conversion for a TD. -

If a 9-play, 73-yard touchdown drive is "decent," what's "good"? One play, 105 yards? -
Coker, Young and Scourton were impressive. Sam Martin punted it well and Corey Thornton looks to be a good pickup at CB. Still a ways away.

Hell yeah! Great throw and catch.

Gantt: First depth chart. (Full chart link not working though)
Joe Bear replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
To your point, I recall Jimmy Clausen being QB1 on the first 2011 depth chart. -
I don't have a pen on me.

Lions went undefeated in the 2008 preseason, then went 0-16. Preseason wins beat preseason losses, but I care more about what the 1s and 2s do in the first half. -
Well that's different...Staley as guest speaker.
Joe Bear replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
I thought it was Duce Staley until I opened the thread. -
I knew it had been around quite a while, plus the money goes to charity, and it's five dollars either way. It makes far more sense to take your family to Fan Fest for $15 and see the team, instead of spending $300 on tickets to see a 31-9 loss.
