  1. With this team. I’m not touching Farley in the 1st rd. Way to big a risk. Major medical history, already rumored to need an additional surgery and possible nerve damage. I’ve known guys with the same back issue and it really jacked them up. Not even a chance could I see them running around and playing football after that. a win now team that already has a foundation and pushing in the playoffs, sure. a team rebuilding with a ton of holes. Way to big a Risk. A risk that if Sam Darnold doesn’t pan out either, could be a nail in Rhule’s coffin early here
  2. Even more so Detroit. I get the local South Carolina connection. but we already signed 1 vet CB on a Short year deal. Throwing in Gilmore would be nice but would be a win now type move for us. Detroit has Okudah who was hyped last year and struggled. Having Gilmore come in with him makes the most sense
  3. Glad we got it done before SF traded Jimmy G to them. We would’ve been forced to cut him then
  4. Amari Rodger’s WR in rd 3 would be one to watch
  5. If Sewell falls past Cincinnati. There’s a good possibility he is there at 8 for us. I have a strong sense Detroit moves down. With NE offering Gilmore, you could see Detroit taking that plus a pick next year. CB is still a big need there and having the vet Gilmore helping the young talented Okudah (who struggled last year) is even more enticing now to Detroit
  6. They still may take a QB. now speaking of offers. I want your opinion on this. Miami is sitting at 6 and will have Pitts, Chase, Waddle there. The 2 teams behind them (NFC teams) are trying to trade down. Miami’s division rival (Patriots) are trying to move up for that QB (Fields). Even if Pitts is there, do they consider Hard to trade down to another QB hungry team and block the Patriots from moving up for him?
  7. This. it’s the same reason we haven’t picked up Moore’s. Want to keep other teams in the dark on our move/plans
  8. True. But what I expect what they’ll be getting Offer wise for Fields. Will make it too hard to pass up, even for Sewell
  9. I think we trade out if he falls to us
  10. While I know it’s still possible we draft a QB. And a Lot of speculation is that this is the reason why we haven’t picked it up yet. Think this has to do more with Teddy imo. Honestly think they won’t pick it up until they move Teddy and clear up some $$. Thus why it hasn’t been picked up. I bet we cut Teddy after the draft if we can’t move him then pick up the 5th year on Darnold. heck people are so focused on Darnold’s 5th year. We haven’t even picked up DJ Moore’s 5th year yet either. This Has to do more with $ and Teddy’s contract than us just potentially drafting a QB.
  11. Don’t mind it. AVT is a Stud
  12. Interesting to hear. Considering the depth that has been touted about this OT class.
  13. This^ there is a Big reason, even larger than him, why he is so adamant about wanting to play LT this season (in his contract year). And teams know this, thus why Baltimore wasn’t going to get a 1st 2nd from anyone for him. Win win for both teams here
  14. I have a hard time believing a QB won’t be taken at 7...... by someone
  15. This guy has some connections and was the guy who was calling the Darnold move before it happened.
  16. Will be a Real nice pairing beside Brown
  17. First off. I believe the Panthers are going to try Hard to shop this pick. one scenario I have and could see is trading with New England. They then would take Jaycee Horn. Our staff is Really Really high on this kid. They have him CB1. Former Seattle CB that Fitterer knows well, Richard Sherman, said Horn is the best CB in this draft. If this scenario. Expect the next 2 picks to be OL. That being said. This is hard to predict. So with the most likely scenario. 8. RaShawn Slater- This pick could be Sewell. But think he will be gone here. There are also rumors that our staff like Slater over Sewell. Panthers are in dire need to solidify the LT position. It has been a revolving door (no pun intended) since Gross left. I’ve lost count on how many different guys we’ve started there since Gross retired. Also import to note. Joe Brady’s offense heavily relies on 5 man protection. This puts a Lot of Pressure on the OL, and the need to have a solid one at that. 2nd: trade down! I expect a few teams to move up for a QB in rd 2. And I expect we will be calling everyone to try to move down and get more picks. Here, I am going to project the Bears to move up here. We get their 3rd. 52. Ifeatu Melifonwu- This kid is a Kid Fitterer would’ve most definitely taken in Seattle. Panthers get another CB with Big upside as they still try to replace Bradbury. 73. Richie Grant-it’s no secret the Panthers want to upgrade at FS. They cut Boston. And while everyone has been focused on what QB pro day our staff has been at. Rhule and co have been at All the TOP Safeties in this drafts pro day. On top, Rhule absolutely fell in Love with Grant at the Senior Bowl. Think if they feel he won’t be here. They will make a move up for him the same way they did with Chinn. 84(via Bears). Jackson Carman- Clemson LT struggled this year. But his film and tools say the kid could transition well to OG. Rhule likes these Versatile kids. 113. David Moore- Panthers throwing draft picks at this OL that needs major help. Moore from Grambling State, had a good senior bowl week and has plenty of upside. 151. Shi Smith- Another Senior Bowl kid, who performed well in front of our staff. Smith has potential to compete for that WR3 spot. rest of the picks bpa
  18. They’re getting feelers just in case Atlanta takes Pitts
  19. I secretly like him better at 3-4 OLB to be quite honest
