  1. The fact that we now have 2 Giants that can do this http://youtu.be/r2eINBeVkyA It is going to put a Lot of pressure on defenses. It's going to be very tough for them to bring any safety in the box for run support in addition to Olson taking a LB away. If Williams and Turner can blast open some holes in the run game, our offense is going to be a well oiled machine.
  2. Again sounds much like a former player Gettleman brought to the Giants Plaxico Burress 6'5 230 from Michigan State ran a high 4.7 the ran a 4.47 later
  3. Williams was a monster in the sugar bowl vs Alabama 2 years ago on the Left side. Kid is going to be a helluva RT for us. Otah type road grader also with just enough skills to be a god pass blocker from the right side. HUGE get.
  4. Kid has potential for LT but is a big Mauling Otah style RT. seen some have him as high as mid 2nd
  5. Low of 4.47 at his pro day. High of 4.7 at combine Reminds me a lot like this guy http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=263&draftyear=2000&genpos=WR
  6. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=263&draftyear=2000&genpos=WR Building up like the Giants SuperBowl teams
  7. Reminds me of a young Plaxico from the Giants. Pound the rock lob it up to the twin towers. Then destroy some teams with our front 7 D
  8. I can dig this. Twin towers on the outside (when Cam is off he throws high) then Ginn in the slot to blow the lid off
  9. Has there been an interview anywhere from him since he's been drafted?
  10. Actually I believe Smith has the hands and concentration. The route running is the Huge difference. As you heard Gettleman mention OBJ was one of the best route runners he's seen. while Smith, many have mentioned his route running as a weakness and really didn't have to run a wide range route tree at Ohio state.
  11. Really starting to Love the idea of getting Devin Smith in the 2nd (even if having to move up a little in the round to grab him). Looking at his measurables and film, he is a raw OBJ (just doesn't have OBJ's elite route running). We have the coaches to really teach these kids. OBJ: 5'11 198 32 3/4 arms 10" hands 4.43 40 7 bp reps 38.5 vert 6.69 3 cone Devin Smith 6'0 196 31" arms 9" hands 4.42 40 10 bp reps 39"vert 6.83 3 cone http://youtu.be/pDEm16yRI1E
  12. Going to try to head up that way if I don't work at all that weekend!
  13. Duuuuke! If the kid could've stayed healthy the last 2 years. He'd be the most hype prospect coming out of the U this year
  14. Pretty much. Live down in Miami area. Many Friends/neighbors/co workers who are Canes fans, Season ticket holders, Alums, Students etc. And doesn't even seem like they are even quite the homers over this as some on here. The Kid is a 5'9 Ted Ginn. Sounds like he had a good showing at his pro day. But the game isn't played in shorts or 7 on 7 type passing drills. Will be highly upset if we take him in the 2nd round or possibly even 3rd.
  15. If he's all we get at WR we are in trouble. Ginn, Hill, and Dorsett fighting for the #2 and #3 with Ginn having the best hands out of the group. Thats not something to be overly excited for a QB.
  16. Do Not Want in the first 3 rounds. He does have Speed. But thats all he's got. The Lockett kid is more "explosive" and will go lower. If he's sitting around the 4th grab him. He is in no way a #2, the guy would be a good #3 slot WR in the league. We just signed one of those, who also happens to be a track star with poor hands in Ginn.
  17. Nice! Been a conch the last 3 years, just recently moved up to the Miami Ft Lauderdale area
  18. If we can't one of those top tier Parker, Strong, etc to fall to us in the 1st. I think we should try to jump at Greene. He very well may fall to us in the 3rd. Been in the 305 area for 4+ years now, and have never heard anything negative about this kid. Have been up in the tallahassee to mobile area the last 3 weeks for work and have had some very good conversations with many FSU alums, booster etc about Greene. They pretty much said the whole reason KB is where he is today is because of Greene. Didn't realize how close those 2 were to each other. Mentioned KB still looks up to Greene almost as a big brother. Talked how KB came out of shape and was a hot mess coming into FSU. Greene pretty much laid it into him towards the end of his Freshman year. After that they were said to became closer than anyone else on the team. Greene was known to be pretty much be KB's biggest mentor. Pretty much bringing in Greene to be with KB would be massive. Really want this kid but don't want to reach. I'd be Super Giddy to be able to grab him in the 3rd even if we pulled one of those top tier WR's in the 1st. Just all the things I've heard how big of a role he's been with KB and the close bond they have with each other. Having him to continue being there with KB into the pros. And not even just for KB just the whole locker room. Pretty much have gathered he's a Polar opposite of TO in that regard, and someone you want on your team.
  19. Yes! But also at the same time when WR is one of our bigger needs and one of those top tier WRs falls to 25 he may be the BPA. It wouldn't hurt to get a 2nd #1 level WR for Cam throw to instead of reaching for another person at a position of need
  20. I'd take him in the 3rd in a heart beat. Thing is this draft is Super Deep again at WR, that you could get a Stud in the 1st or possibly 2nd.

  23. Perriman just jumped Parker. No way he will be at #25 with that 40 time. Good thing though. That will push Parker and Strong down in our range. Also Tyler Lockett > Dorsett. LOL at all the Dorsett 2nd round love
  24. This! I'd be sick if we took Dorsett in the 2nd. Living down in Miami I have seen a Lot of UM games and know many canes fans/students. His route running is alright. The kid has stone hands. Only reason he is projected this high is because his 40 time. Literally the only thing he has going for him is his speed. (You see that jump in stock just like you saw with Heyward -bay, just he had the height. that's holding Dorsett down). Most people even thought of him going no higher than then 5th-6th round until it started to come up to combine time where it was rumored he could be run a 4.3. After that you saw him blow past a ton of people up the board the second his 40 time flashed up. Even jumping Greene who he played second fiddle to at STA and by the #'s, stats, and. Highlights in college Dorsett couldn't hold his jock strap And honestly when you talk about over all explosiveness the kid from KSU has him beat there.
