  1. It's 2023 by a long shot for several reasons. The highly picked QB and coaching staff were brand new and were a colossal failure so because of the bleak future and no first overall pick to show for the miserable season, 2023 takes the sh*t cake.
  2. I’m fairly certain Vrabel to NE is already a done deal. You don’t let a guy like Belichick leave without a solid plan behind him. And a guy like Vrabel will have options. I’d like the Panthers to interview him (maybe you end up with Vrabel and Arthur Smith getting the band back together somewhere) but I don’t see it happening on the Panthers. My wildcard is Vrabel going to the Chargers.
  3. They should tag him if they’ve got a trade partner lined up. Otherwise unless he will sign for a team friendly deal, it’s better to let him walk. This team needs 5 nickels to be competitive next year instead of 1 quarter.
  4. 100% behind Xavier Worthy if he falls to 33. NFL comp is Devonta Smith. Worthy will be a legit NFL receiver for sure.
  5. If Vrabel doesn’t already have a job in NE lined up like I think he does, I really hope he interviews with the Panthers. Proven good coach who can make a winner out of a flawed roster.
  6. Reports saying Vrabel wanted out of Ten makes me think he had it lined up beforehand
  7. Vrabel is going to NE. It’s all been assembled behind the scenes months ago.
  8. He can remain in some role but I don’t think it’s going to work out with the crew that was here during this awful period.
  9. You don’t and up the worst team in the NFL because you had a good QB
  10. Slowik’s progress through the interview progress might unintentionally tell us how he feels about Bryce. He had to have built some preliminary plans to coach Bryce if the Panthers picked Stroud instead.
  11. Bobby Slowik is that dude. Glad he’s on the list.
  12. It's too late. The decisions they've made are so bad that I'd be shocked if any semblance of competence surfaced. The team has degraded from a flawed but talented roster lacking a franchise QB to one that has no identity, no star players, and an owner best known for firing coaches mid season on the regular and throwing drinks at opposing fans. The best thing he could do is hire professional football people to run the ship and completely disappear.
  13. It was infinitely more retarded because they were drafting a rookie QB. How does keeping Brian Burns, a tweener part time pass rusher they could have gotten 2 first round draft picks for, benefit a rookie QB? Scott Fitterer and the entire Panthers organization are certified retards. I don't usually use that word and it applies here. Their ability to construct a functional NFL football team is retarded compared to the rest of the NFL.
  14. The scouting department needs to be completely gutted. Hopefully the new GM can build a competent one that doesn't involve David Tepper at all.
  15. They could have drafted Stetson Bennett who is essentially the same QB as Bryce only a few years older and been just as bad this season but had DJ Moore and the #1 overall pick. Bryce is god awful and shouldn’t be the only starting option next season.
  16. Fitterer should have been fired the day he turned down that trade from the Rams. It was that day we knew he was brain dead
  17. Phew. The worst GM in team history is gone.
  18. The guaranteed money will be a big draw. David Tepper is still paying gobs of money to Matt Rhule and Frank Reich. Come work for a short time, so a horrible job, and keep getting paid. If anything it’s going to attract guys who want to f*ck off and get fired.
  19. I feel the same way. The team we once loved is gone. It’s owned by a pot bellied dipshit and I hope he leaves Charlotte without a football team in his ownership ASAP.
  20. It’s really the lack of the first overall pick next year that makes it the worst. On field performance and win loss record was comparable to 2001 and 2010, but the future is definitely bleaker now.
  21. but was his restaurant a serious business venture or a money laundering cover which I often wonder when professional athletes and wealthy people want to open something dumb like a coal pizza restaurant
  22. Special teams was probably the panthers best unit
  23. That’s absolutely not true. The main reason this team failed is Bryce young is absolutely f*cking awful.
  24. You’re deluded as hell if you don’t think this team wouldn’t have won more games with Dalton starting all the games
  25. Yea, they probably could have actually. Dalton is an NFL caliber QB. Did you not notice the one game he played the passing offense seemed to work?
