As soon as opponents figure out how to stop Rico Dowdle, Bryce is going to have to win games on his own. It’s going to be ugly because Bryce cannot do that, and we’re all going to want a new QB again. Next year Dan Morgan HAS to bring in a younger veteran QB as backup with Dalton obviously on the way out and no other options on the roster. Someone like a Trey Lance, Zack Wilson, Anthony Richardson, Will Levis, Malik Willis, etc. At least one of those guys will go on to be a decent to good starter in the NFL after time riding the bench.

Appreciate the optimism but there’s a better chance this team turns back into a pumpkin any given week. We’re only one week removed from being dog dicked by the Bills at home, getting beat by literally the same running play over and over. Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if the Saints beat the Panthers this week

He’s not going to, he is what he is. It’s not like a Sam Darnold or Daniel Jones who had the physical tools but needed a better coaching staff and talent around him. Bryce is very very small and doesn’t have a particularly strong arm.

I mean to be real, the offense was Rico Dowdle. There were some head scratching play calls and blown chances on offense. The wind may have been a factor, but the offense barely did enough to win. Now the defense did excellent, especially in the red zone. That unit won the game. Big change over getting blasted by the same exact play over and over against the Bills

It’s not complicated. Wait until the end of the season, assess if Brooks is healthy, see what Rico would need to re-sign.

Right now the Week 16 Sunday Night Football game is the Bengals vs Dolphins, both teams unlikely to be in contention for the playoffs this season. The Panthers will be hosting the Bucs in what could be a pivotal NFC South game. There’s other games that have meaningful impacts that week and I doubt it stays Bengals/Dolphins, but I think there’s a slim chance the Panthers might get a SNF flex this year.

No reason to trade Chuba. They’ll have a very tough decision to make in the offseason though. They should try to get Chuba more carries against the Saints next week.

Prime Cam QBs are once in a generation. Even getting prime Andy Dalton and this team has 2 more wins. They beat the Cardinals for sure after Bryce dumped all over the place early in the game and maybe the Jaguars game too. Bills wildcard game since he didn’t play
