  1. No chance of winning this game with their running game making this defense look stupid
  2. This team might play a turnover free game and still get their asses kicked. The offense is that bad.
  3. Offense needs to put it in the end zone right now. Defense needs rest.
  4. This one has potential to get REALLY ugly if the offense continues to be absolutely inept. Could be 42-6
  5. Watched enough Panthers games to know when we’re going to lose. Offense can’t do sh*t, defense already getting pounded in the run game. It’s just going to get worse.
  6. We’re going to lose. Horrible run defense. Phil Snow doesn’t know how to defend NFL run games.
  7. Well time to beat the living sh*t out of him
  8. Clearly going to lose today. Defense going to be a sieve in the second half
  9. QB option runs, bullshit scrambles that break down Belichick’s defense, run run run, play action: I hope they don’t call a designed pass play all game.
  10. That had to be a miscommunication but, like WTF was PJ thinking there? If the Panthers want to win with PJ, Brady or Sean Ryan have to be in his ear every play basically telling him where to go with the ball before the play like McVay did with Goff.
  11. That's kind of my point, are guys that are willing to sign with the Panthers really difference makers at this point? Even if they're a big name and command a big salary? This franchise has a ton of problems from the top down, like many other franchises that sign big names and "win the offseason" every year. A few big name free agents or trade targets aren't going to make any difference. It's like pissing on a forest fire.
  12. I dunno because over the years I've seen many "top shelf" free agents sign with Jacksonville, Washington, Detroit, Cleveland, you name it. Sometimes it really is just about the money.
  13. Really thought I remembered that part of the season allowing more fans. Guess I forgot it was still COVID lockdown
  14. Damn, I forgot what a mess this game was. First of all. the stands were empty the whole game. The Lions don't have many fans across the country and the Panthers fans had given up at that point I guess. How embarrassing. Secondly, wow. The Lions attempted to give this game away all afternoon with crummy play, pathetic defense, inept offense, and turnovers. It wasn't really as much of a win for the Panthers as much as it was the Lions being a complete dumpster fire poop fest on this day. As a side note, Stafford looked miserable in this game. I remember him having some rib injury or something and having some of his starting receivers out. What a horrible franchise to play for. Onto PJ Walker's performance. Up and down, mostly down. PJ had 5 or 6 really beautiful throws. 1 long bomb to DJ Moore set up an early TD, and another throw was to Curtis Samuel for the other touchdown in the corner of the end zone. Brady schemed him up some other easy throws over the middle that PJ was able to hit. Other than that, he made two mind numbingly stupid throws into the end zone that ended up being INTs, one of which there wasn't a Panthers receiver anywhere nearby. Against a Lions team that seemed to give up in the 2nd quarter, that isn't a good look for 'ol PJ. Playing against Bill Belichick and the Patriots, a performance like this from PJ probably means a loss. Two red zone INTs usually means your team loses. The Lions couldn't make the Panthers pay for those turnovers. The Patriots will. As much as it makes me want to vomit, lets hope Darnold gets all the marbles stuffed back in his skull so we have a chance on Sunday.
  15. I hope he doesn't throw the ball more than 10 times. If the Panthers want any hope of winning they need to dial up a full on wildcat // QB read option offense like the '08 Dolphins. Then when they least expect it, play-action bomb to Robby Anderson and everyone loves him again.
  16. I feel like Morgan and Darnold are friends and they signed Morgan because he's probably a smart guy and servers as an extra set of eyes for Darnold.
  17. he's still in the protocol as far as everyone knows, i'd say it's like 80% certain he's not playing this week.
  18. offense needs him back but I'm skeptical he plays
  19. lol the Packers already cut him, he's done
  20. The Patriots have a lot of similarities to the Panthers in stats and roster. Each team’s pass defense is better than the run defense. They both have young QBs that struggle with turnovers at times. They both rely on the running game to move the offense. Both teams have turned the ball over 12 times on offense this season. Where I give the edge to New England is obviously coaching experience but also talent on offense. Their offensive line is better than the Panthers and their weapons open up more things for Mac Jones in the passing game. The Panthers get an edge in pass rush and pressure rate. It’s a game that is going to come down to which team protects the football and gets their running game going. Having Darnold will make a big difference in at least showing the threat of passing the ball. The Patriots will stack the box if PJ plays and I expect him to turn the ball over 2-3 times. I see a close hard fought game if Darnold starts. If Darnold plays a clean game the Panthers have a good shot at a win if the pass rush can rattle Mac Jones and they limit their running game. I expect a comfortable Patriots win if Walker starts. This isn’t the Lions, PJ.
  21. Facts. It's was not a bad idea to trade for Darnold. No one can say it was, he has a lot of physical talent and was on a bad team with an idiot as a head coach. But, reclamation projects very rarely work out. That bet needed to be hedged with a rookie or a veteran backup. You'd think a hedge fund manager would understand that!
