Joe Person @josephperson · 5m Frank Reich: A lot of the guys that were cut today will be back on practice squad and will start games for the Panthers this year. Joe Person @josephperson · 7m Frank Reich says he's not in position to say definitively the Panthers will keep three quarterbacks.

Joe Person @josephperson · 3m Frank Reich mentions Chandler Zavala and Cade Mays when asked about who will start at right guard in place of Austin Corbett.

and this is why I'm glad we got an offense minded head coach for the first time

Scott's post says he's recovered from the hammy, wonder if we call him

I've thought about that, but Brady has to prove himself this year in a big way.

https://www.hogshaven.com/2023/8/27/23847909/examining-teams-with-the-best-offensive-lines-for-potential-final-roster-cuts-washington-commanders The Eagles have arguably the best starting OL group going into the season, so they’re an interesting place to look first for talented cuts. According to the folks at Bleeding Green Nation, one of the team’s best OL cuts is likely to be C/G Julian Good-Jones. just what we need.

Is Brady healthy? Healthy enough to start week 1?

thanks OP, good to hear some positives....I'm really hoping Zavala is the guy. Whether or not Bryce is the guy, we need to build a very strong OL to protect our QB. There are 4 positions I want us to draft every year if possible: OL, DL, CB and WR. Vets at those positions are expensive, keeping fresh young guys even as depth will help the team in the long run. The bottom of the depth chart at those positions can always be improved.

wish Matt was in the game, this would have been a big chance for him

so no pass rush at all.....give us something to watch Bryce

thanks op, I almost started this thread yesterday. hope those who get games I can't watch will post info
-
your turn to do the menu threads....I had to give it up last year, too busy with work, but I'll still post on em.

I have to make a work related appearance at night about once a year.....and it's tonight. at least it's preseason....should be back at 9. ya'll hold down the fort.

Joe Person @josephperson · 2h The expectation is Panthers WR Terrace Marshall will miss a few weeks with his back injury, as @Sheena_Marie3 said. A source said team believes there’s a chance Marshall can beat that timeline. Either way his injury - after Damiere Byrd’s - is testing the receiver depth.

Joe Person @josephperson · 7m From the transactions wire: Panthers worked out former Bears receiver/returner Aron Cruickshank, waived by CHI last week. The 5-9 Cruickshank had a total of five TD returns in five seasons at Wisconsin and Rutgers.
