  1. That was some funny sh¡t that is so apropos.
  2. What happened last preseason? The most yards of all receivers? Lack of availability allows the next man up to outshine you and the coach to lose a little faith in you. Games played (in) is a joke when you're not getting any appreciable amount of snaps. Come on, man. You're trying to convince the Huddle that no one will pick him up; I'm telling you that someone absolutely will.
  3. Dude, he's hardly played. How you can make all kind of judgments on basically no snaps is beyond me. His issue is not performance, it's availability due to injury.
  4. Saunders looks like he plays well enough to be depth, but he'll never be a star. Edit: I was thinking Wright. He just might be better than anyone thought.
  5. You shouldn't judge a receiver, especially a rookie that barely played by his catches or his catch rate (especially in a disjointed offense). TMJ hardly played. Some of that was injury, and some of that is just Rhule's overall philosophy. One man's trash is another's gold. It's much too early for teams to be giving up on TMJ (and probably Mims as well).
  6. Nah, dude. He'd be snapped up in a heartbeat. He hasn't played well because he's been on ice.
  7. Robby Anderson's drop rate has not been a thing but for two weeks. Give it a break.
  8. I mean, there are worse things. I'm never gonna get upset over trying to acquire a talented wide-out. In on every deal. Somebody (maybe a WR) would likely have to go is all. I get that there are other more pressing needs, but opportunities at those positions have yet to present themselves. When and if they do, we'll consider them.
  9. Ahhh, the strong-willed, independent little dog, that can appear a little aloof at times, that thinks they are bigger than they are. I was going to try and get one, but my wife says no to house dogs.
  10. I don't believe any woman knowingly wants to be raped. But we all know, that there are bad actors in the world that prey upon women. Grown women who are more worldly and have some experience will know not to take a drink from a stranger, or will go to a party with a friend (or friends) who will look out for one another to keep them out of bad situations like the one that took place. I have seen women protect one another from potential predators. That's what we teach the young women in our family. A minor likely has less experience and the forethought to even consider such things depending on how they are coming up.
  11. Woman? It sounds like a girl. I know that it's bad either way, but a minor just doesn't have the experience needed to not put themselves in such a situation. That was bad, and I don't see how the Bills haven't already cut the guy.
  12. Good point. I was thinking more about that supposedly deep QB class. Some of those guys seem to have great potential. I could see a team balking at Mayfield and going with one of these rookies.
  13. It may come down to money. That's why I really think that he's going to really have to show something. If he doesn't, his market will be lukewarm to cold. If he does--and I mean really ball out--then there could be bidding wars. In that case, we'll probably win if we want to. Baker will have to be the franchise QB that people thought that he could be though.
  14. Questionable work ethic vs questionable injury history. I don't know. Thank heavens for Shi (and the Wright kid, whom I think deserves more appreciation, but may not get it).
  15. He was good for a rookie. If you can play, you can play. All the excuses for a sophomore slump and a vet QB who decided to play in his 4th year notwithstanding injury doesn't work for me. Moreover, Kurt Warner (& some others) said that the injury to his non-throwing shoulder wasn't a legit excuse. We'll see what he has this year. If he balls out, we can talk. I'm hopeful, but Baker has to prove he's more than just an inconsistent, somewhat above average QB who is mindbogglingly erratic when crunch time comes.
  16. Nah, he's really only had one good year. If he can show promise like that one, then great. Two out of the other three were pedestrian, and last year was bad. I would only pay him if he can show the promise of his playoff season.
