"Significantly superior?" I don't know about that, and I'm a Georgia alum.

I've always loved Duce. He's been a great RB coach for what seems like forever.

Reich’s description of a QB: It’s basically Corral

Simms had him as his top QB, so whatever. -

I've done my homework on Corral, but if you choose not to believe it or belittle it, it's your choice. -

Moreover, no one can say what type of processor Corral would be in the pro system because of the college system in which he played. Anyone paying attention knew that this was perhaps his biggest question mark, with his durability being second. -

Just the fact that you say they have similar arm strength indicates to me that you never took any scouting report about Corral that you may have read seriously. Morover, "slightly" better athlete just isn't credible. Read the scouting reports; that's all you have to do. -
I'll believe AR at 9 (19 o 29) when I see it.

But those traits are different too. All you pretty much have to do is check their scouting profiles. If you're honest, there were (and are) many differences. -

Nah, it was after at least three weeks, if not four or five. The only thing he and Grier really have in common is that they were both drafted in the third round by the Panthers. Their stories and college careers have stark differences beginning with how they came into the league and the conference in which they ultimately played for. -
Apparently there are grown ass men concerned with how Tepper spends his money. They're also grown ass men who think that it's OK to call Rhule everything but a son of God because he's a bad pro football coach. They're also grown men who think it's OK tell people "fug you," because they supported Rhule, and grown men who have the nerve to tell people what and what not to poo on when half of the poo they do is just poo on people's posts. ----- I would like for one of these grown ass men to tell me why I or anyone should care about whether Tepper has to pay Rhule. Why do you care, motherfugers? Why? Are you that damned petty? Why do you not think it's a good idea to put this thing to bed and move on? Do you have a mature response, much less anything credible to say as to why Tepper paying Rhule five million dollars bothers you so damned much that you'd poo a post on a message board?

He may not have been considered the best at his position, but at one point during his last season in college, he was the frontrunner for the Heisman. Obviously, injury derailed that, but it doesn't change that fact. -

As long as Corral gets a genuine shot, I'm good. As far as who it sounded like Reich was talking about---I said it yesterday---it sounds like Lamar Jackson. It really does. At the end of the day, I can say that Reich realizes that it's better to have someone with some versatility out there who can put pressure on the opposition outside the pocket, but who who can also effectively play inside the pocket than just someone who only can only play effectively inside the pocket. -

Your shitting on people's posts constantly is weak. I could see if they said something really deserving of poo, but you don't do that, so you really can't tell me a damn thing that I'm gonna respect. You do better, and I'll "do better" as you put it. -
Well, it was either that or Payton, and how Jerry is going to regret not making that call blah blah blah.

I'd just like to add that we have hardly even seen Corral. It's certainly not being analytical in the slightest to judge Corral based on what doesnt even amount to a full preseason game. It's ludicrous, but yet we have some people here doing that. -
Honestly, I think Georgia was off. I don't believe that Stroud would fare so well if he had to play them again. That being said, he had a great game---probably his best ever.
-
He's retiring, until he's not.

Who really cares about this? Why should anyone but Tepper care about this? All the manufactured outrage is hilarious. And if it's not manufactured, it's still hilarious. Get a grip!
-
Tepper just needs to give the guy his money and let him go away. He hired him, and he decided that it was a good idea to give Rhule that contract. Just pay the man and let the franchise move on without that distraction.

Frank Reich's Intro Presser - Today, Noon EST
top dawg replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean, I can't get excited over his overall record. He was also key in the decision-making and personnel also, so I can't give him a complete pass on that. I told someone in another thread last week that from where I'm sitting Reich has a lot to prove, and I believe that. His record doesn't exactly scream "success" to me. As far as that goes, he's closer to Fox and Rivera than Harbaugh. -

I don't get what you mean by moving the goalposts, I've been consistent about Reich from the beginning. He'll get respect as the coach, as I've always given the coach time to do his thing before calling for his head. I'm more patient than most. He'll get his two years from me, unless he outright bombs out of the gate. Admittedly, I may appear more critical on a curve, because it's not like Reich doesn't have a body of work. He's also arguably coming into a situation that is decidedly better than when Rivera or Rhule took over the show. He certainly has more exoerience, and as such I believe that expectations should be somewhat higher coming out the gate. Harbaugh. When it became obvious pretty early that we weren't getting him, I decided that I'd personally like one of these "young offensive minds" that had been mentioned like Johnson, Steichen, or Kafka. Even though he was an OC, I could've been sold on Demeco also. BTW, the disparity is playoff wins/losses. -
Tepper admits to mistake in hiring Matt Rhule

Yeah, I'd rather have Richardson on day 3 than Hooker on day 4... You get my drift?

Yeah, he probably hasn't done player evaluations inasmuch as it relates directly to the Panthers, but I kind off have a hard time believing that he hasn't scouted Darnold or Corral before. -
When we start winning against the better teams of the league on a consistent basis, then I'll be excited.
