Josina Anderson thoughts on the Burns situation
toldozer replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Or we could have afforded to keep cmc and Moore. Burns would have had essentially 0 dead cap hit. We paid the best running back in football 30 million dollars to not play for us anymore. That trade was unbelievably stupid looking back at it. The value was just ok and we still had to eat all that money so we couldn't use it on other players. Even if we didn't completely poo the bed on the picks it was still dumb as hell -
Free and no ticket fees aren't the same
-
Aight, roll em back up
-
Don't blame that on Ron, just another Tepper blunder
-
Bc some people are just sad twat waffles
-
Me too but I would prefer Duren over richards and definitely over Mensah
-
Going for 25 pts and 20 boards Meanwhile we got some fug named nick Mensah or some bullshit getting run. Remind me again why a team devoid of talented depth was better off with second round picks?
-
Nah I ain't coming to see him
-
If Canales makes Bryce serviceable he should get a statue in front of the stadium.
-
Yeah I wanted Scoot, I was wrong. Brandon has been the one bright spot on a team full of pussies. I'm still batting .500 on my 2023 first round pick takes for Charlotte sports.
-
2-5 are pretty interchangeable. I like the Canales hire. I do not like Morgan at gm at all though so we will see. Harbaugh clearly 1 and Morris and Quinn 6 and 7
-
Mark Williams has been out 2 months because of a bruised back. Gordon Haywards softness rubbed off on the whole fuging team. These guys don't want to play

There’s hope for Tepper…. Jed York example
toldozer replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
So what your saying is we're going to luck into a pretty decent qb late in the draft this year and trade Bryce for a 4th round pick next year? Only difference is they have a ton of skill players for Purdy to throw to and an all world rb and a great oline and a really good if not great defense. Maybe tepper will learn like York but San Fran didn't really start trying to address qb until that team was STACKED. we're at least 3 years away from being competitive which sucks because we were also 3 years away in 2020 -
Can we snag dk and Mike evans?
-
I'm not concerned. Of course we suck all on our own so they'll still more than likely be much better than the panthers
-
He wasn't good before
-
They probably didn't want to pay what some of the others were wanting. In the mean time we couldn't pay enough for some guys to take our job
-
I'd vote like it. It's a chance we have to take based on the current state of the Francise. If it's a home run then fantastic. If he and Bryce suck then we can try again next offseason with new gm, coach and qb in a much better spot. This year should be all about shedding bad money to open up things for the next few years.

Tepper at the podium. My name is Dave, his name is Dave it just works were the same guy.

11 minutes of what true NFL ownership looks like…. BY A WOMAN!
toldozer replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
So no one else read this as BY (Bryce young) is a woman? Caught me off guard -
I think he's the best we can hope for. I'd be fine with it. Whoever we get won't be anyone else 1st choice. I'm just going to expect the team to suck until it doesn't.
-
Especially to watch the hornets lose by 30 a night.
-
We could have drafted their three biggest playmakers on offense. Instead we got Bryce tmj and Mingo. They picked Dell and Collins after we selected two bum wrs! The talent we're lacking is in the front office

Burn this goddamn team to the ground
toldozer replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Charlotte Hornets
Just do not trade Hayward or Rozier for a bad contract. Just let it's play its course and free up the money. Should have a high draft pick to add to Lemelo, Miller and Williams. Too bad they're always hurt -
Seems like the best defensive coaches are smart former linebackers. If only we had one of those lying around. Luke would be an amazing head coach I think. He'd burn himself out in about 3 years though. That's what we've been missing on this team since he and Davis retired as well. I linebacker to bring that attitude and leadership. Shaq was never going to be that. Mills, Morgan, Beason, Davis, Luke. We've always had that leader and it's severely lacking right now
