Evero, where are the double A gap blitzes? Where are the safety blitzes? What are you doing? -

Sir, he alerted the pass pro. They only brought like 5 guys. They should have picked him up. Period. -

It wasn't too many blitzers. Reasonable expectation that they'd pick him up so he wouldn't have to focus on him if he actually came. A QB has to trust his oline and WRs to do simple stuff. That was simple stuff. -

Because he called it! He has to trust they'll block the free guy that he identified for them. What are we talking about here? -

Very very serious. What else was he supposed to do? Dodge a free blitzing safety up the middle? What are you talking about? That's 100% on the pass pro. -

QB identified the blitz and alerted the oline/pass protection. He has to trust they'll do their frigging job when he tells them what's coming! Geez. Some of yall are too much. -

Anybody blaming the QB on that sack is just dumb. Yeah I said it. -
This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)
Navy_football replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I've been saying this since last season. It's not that he can't, he just doesn't. Not sure why he plays so cautious, but it isn't working. Time to try something else. -
1. Saints 2. Falcons 3. Tampa 4. Broncos 5. Pats Division foes first, then super bowl losses
-
I mean that's been the case for as long as I can remember. I don't think that'll ever change. They could win the Super Bowl and it would still be that way.
-
100% matters if that's the game plan. Every QB isn't a dink and dunker. For instance Love couldn't help himself Sunday. He'd get antsy and just launch it deep into double or triple coverage. Does seem like Canales has adjusted to what Bryce likes though.
-
Yes he CAN. Just like he CAN push the ball downfield, he just doesn't. And I have to believe he's had to throw in windy weather before. Should have known better than to put that duck in the crosswind. Don't think he did it again.
-
He wasn't making the same throw as in Miami. He lofted the ball to the corner pylon and the wind blew it all over the place. You can see how far the ball is pushed to the right from the perspective in that video. Now the fact that it wasn't a tight spiral didn't help either. Actually it was wobbly coming out of his hand, but he seems to do that. It still usually gets to where he wants it to go. Horrible ball in that wind. Hopefully lesson learned.
-
so his 2 TDs in Miami didn't help? his 3 TDs against Dallas didn't help? his TD against the Jets didn't help? Which btw was the only TD in the game. And he should have had 2 against the Packers, but drops... The only game where they truly didn't need anything from the QB was ATL. That was a defensive master class.
-
You're doing too much. They literally won against the #1 team in the NFC at the time. Rico had exactly 1 of the 20+ yards in that drive up to that point. Other than that play that fooled the defense, he had a total of 2 yards in the drive. I'm not saying Bryce lit it up, but he was crucial in the win. Particularly the last drive. Canales was playing for the FG after that. Had to make himself look smart for not deferring after winning the coin toss.
-
That final drive was comprised of: 1. one (1) yard run by Rico 2. 10 yards pass by Bryce (1st down) 3. Incompletion by Bryce 4. 10 yards pass by Bryce (1st down) 5. Incompletion by Bryce 6. This play I don't think Canales was trying to keep the ball out BY's hands.

Eagles still have the most complete roster. I think they go again.
-
Not dirty. Player was still in the field of play throwing up first down signs. He taught him a lesson. Maybe he wasn't trying to injure him, but he was trying to give him some pain.
-
Oh I think he was, and I don't blame him one bit. You play silly games, you get silly prizes. Dead man sideline. Bryce didn't slow down like that the next time he ran to the sideline though.
-
I don't blame him for pushing Bryce either. But it was intentional. He saw BY going out of bounds and he intentionally pushed him. The Stroud one wasn't intentionally a big hit. He just couldn't overcome the laws of physics. He tried though.
