  1. The point was Miles Sanders wasn't just a guy in Philly. He was at least as good as Chuba has been in Carolina.
  2. Miles Sanders rushed for damn near 1300 yards in Philly. More than any season for Chuba. And I didn't "poo" on Chuba. That's your interpretation. I think he's a gritty between the tackles running back, but he isn't a homerun threat. Never has been. He's a consistent get you positive yards back.
  3. Yep. That's what I said at the beginning before "feelings". He's not playing bottom tier. He's average right now.
  4. Yeah 100 more yards on a third more passes, and minus 2 rushing TDs. Same number of passing TDs.
  5. Nope. I said he has been very consistent but he left alot of meat on the bones. You interpreted it how you wanted. If you can't see that, then well...
  6. They've won those last 2 games too. Bryce hasn't brought them down. He's actually made big plays in those games. Dowdle has been the star though for sure. And yo know AJ Brown and Smith change the way defense play the Eagles. Exchange him for Legette or Tremayne and things would be very different.
  7. Linville, he had what would be a lot of QBs best games ever. A lot more than just BY. And for the record, I don't think it was better than the final game last season.
  8. No we don't. Who is our AJ Brown or Devonta Smith or Saquan Barkley?
  9. Good RBs? They had Chuba in 2023 and 2024. It took 2 games to realize he wasn't all we thought he was. Consistent. But left a lot of meat on the bones. A lot. Good luck with that approach with Hurts. How lond do you think it would take for defenses to figure that out without a real threat at WR?
  10. He has. I agree. But so has this entire roster. This entire roster has been arguably the worst in the NFL since 2023. I'm trying to be objective. But this team has been trash top to bottom and you know it. It just pains you to admit for some reason. The oline and WRs in 2023 are the worst I've ever seen in Carolina. They improved the oline in 2024, but then the WRs and defense actually got WORSE! Hopefully they're going in the right direction now, but come on. Let's practice having objective opinions. Not emotional ones. Thanks.
  11. So you think Hurts would have won a Super Bowl, a MVP or all pro while playing QB for Carolina the past 2 seasons? Are you serious?
  12. I think I get it now. Some of yall think a QB is the end all be all of a team's passing success. To me, they're just a bigger cog in the machine. One player can ruin a pass play for a QB. One. One player on any pass can completely ruin a play for a QB. One guard's block. One tackle's block. One TE's block or drop or bad route. One WR drop or bad route. One RB block or bad route. QB is THE single most dependent position on the football field. The team determines a QB's success.
  13. Yeah, ok. Put Hurts on this team. He ain't NONE of that. NOT A ONE! LOL back at you.
  14. Yeah, their defense isn't as bad as they look on paper. They are fast and will hit. I think this is gonna be a street fight. 4 of their 6 loses have been by less than one score. The other 2 were to the Bills and Cowboys.
  15. No he doesn't. He's had the better running game the last 2 weeks. But not his career. Geez. If we're going that route, then how does the defense play into the equation? Pretty big too if going by that approach. How has this defense been the last 2 seasons and first 3 of this year?
  16. So if you have a good running back, that helps a guy catch the ball and get his feet in bounds? That helps a guy go up and catch with 2 hands instead of trying to one hand it and drop? That helps a guy get open in man because you gave him an extra .5 second?
  17. I agree 100%. Cam wasn't the most polished passer and rarely threw with anticipation. But he was all around the baddest dude on the field every game. I just thought the argument was about passing. Actually think BY is very underrated as a runner. When he isn't fumbling the dang ball. Hopefully he's gotten that out of his system.
  18. You're asking who has the better pass blocking and RBs? Not sure that helps receivers get open and catch the ball though.
  19. Well I disagree. He'd have more passing yards than Hurts on Philly. Tua in Miami. Lawrence in JAX and Murray in Arizona. That's my opinion. None of them are blowing him out of the water right now, and they have more established receivers.
  20. I just said as a passer because that's been the argument right? He can't make throws. He can't make the right decisions. He can't throw over 30 yards. Honestly doesn't change anything for me. None of those guys are scary enough runners that it makes a difference. Except Murray. That little mofo is a blur! Hurts is a great short yards option as well.
  21. Carolina isn't good enough to assume a win. Every game is a dog fight.
  22. Right now, off the top of my head I'd put him above: McCarthy Russell Wilson Jalen Hurts Justin Fields Spencer Rattler Kyler Murray Maybe Trevor Lawrence Tua Maybe Caleb Williams Penix Cam Ward I'm not looking at stats. I'm thinking more on the lines of if you traded teams, would BY be able to do more there and would the other QB be able to do more in Carolina - as a passer.
  23. I think I could name more than that. Here's a small nuance. Who do you think would be better than BY in Carolina? Who would Bryce be better than on their team? Is he still bottom of the league to you? Just my way of looking at it.
  24. For a true center, not a guard transitioning? Yes. That's allowed. He has to be an All American though.
  25. Yeah, but that's kind of my point. But this is a results-driven league, so there's that. Bryce doesn't play like a bottom tier QB to me. Every QB gets bailed out by his receivers a couple of times in every game. I just rarely ever see that in Carolina. Even Tmac hasn't really bailed Bryce out yet. I think he'll become that guy but he isn't that right now. Thielen was the closest thing to it, and he really isn't the type of athlete at this point in his career that should be your go to receiver anyway. How many plays can you think of in the last 2-3 years where a receiver made a play on a ball that you didn't think he'd be able to? I remember J. Sanders catching a jump ball last season. Maybe that short throw to TMac this season where he went WAY up to get it. Just don't see those plays too much here. What you do see a lot of is the ball hitting receivers in the hands and them not coming down with it. That's what happened with XL early in the season and dude just lost all confidence in him. He wasn't coming back to the ball. He wasn't high pointing passes. He wasn't muscling defenders or even getting his feet down in bounds when he had a chance. Those are things you need to expect from your receivers if your gonna throw a pass that isn't to a wide open guy. Just my opinion.
