Daniel Jeremiah mocks KC Concepcion to the #Panthers 👏👏👏
Swaggasaurus replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah. Not sure you watched Ginn in college. He’s got a better top end than KC for sure regarding the world class speed. He did Wildcat, Punt return, displayed plenty of elusiveness. May want to refresh the memory. -

My KC comp is Ted Ginn Jr. Stats say so, they look the same on the field. Both smooth runners, fight the football when catching it. Marcel Reed can’t really air it out, CJ Bailey sprayed footballs as a freshman. He might have something to unlock as more of a deep ball guy. -

This whole thing was so stupid to watch. She suggests Mauigoa at pick 3 and then forgets him until like pick 17. Throws up Cooper, then takes him away for Boston vs someone else. -

Thats true. KC gets to his top speed off the jump, that’s his strength in the middle of the field and punt return. I ain’t in love with him or nothing, but he can scoot for a little bit. -
Personally I’ve been thinking he doesn’t get by Dan Campbell, but hey, there’s people out there that doesn’t think he’s a first rounder. I also think there’s a conspiracy to pressure the Jets into taking Reese at 2.

DT/DE love is interesting. I had a brief affair with McDonald before I got convinced we’d play a lot of even front. I picked OT. Specifically if Proctor is there, we pull the trigger.

Fantastic post. But if the draft was purely analytical everyone would know the next pick. There’s projection there. Mauigoa has started every game of his career, Freeling has 17 career starts. It’s totally a gamble to pick Freeling, but you do it because he has reps out there that are perfect and the frame and athleticism are perfect although his experience and play to date are far from perfect. Proctor, for me, still has a level to unlock. He needs to drop another 20-30. He’s played transfer games with Alabama, an incredibly unserious football program in its current state. There’s an insurance policy there as well that he could work out a guard if he doesn’t work at tackle. If Proctor is picked at 19, he has a chance to compete for a starting gig, he’s got 4 tool ability.

Can’t agree more. Although I’m warning up to KC/Cooper possibly. The sum of what Proctor or Freeling *could* be or even the Utah guys I guess…is way more than what either of those two could be. Zach Branch could’ve you close to what they can at a discount. Obviously Cooper is tougher after the catch, but still. These guys ain’t going to be world beaters.

2025 Draft Re-Grades (Or, One Idiot Doubles Down)

Walterfootball was never good. None of them are ever good, Kiper, McShay, Jeremiah. Watch the games, make your own assessments. -
ESPN mock. Common sense if it happens

I hate it. There’s no way that JRodz makes it to 51, this is just like Schwesinger last year, there’s no way he lasts past the first 5 picks of round 2. I like power, power translates, Fano is the opposite of power. Jones in the 3rd is realistic and I’m ok with it. -
4-3 conversion would give us a big need at LB, but would cool me down on DT. Brown, Brown, Wharton, and Jackson for two spots looks way better than the same for 3 spots.
-
Good chance we have a choice for pick of the litter at ILB or DT in round 1. I think Styles is ultimately a 4-3 OLB in the league.

What do y'all think about Skyler Bell?

Gives off Coker vibes, Jalen not the Kraken -
An actual slot receiver in the 1st would be way better than an HBack who moonlights as a slot receiver and doesn’t play TE, like ever. My preference tho is probably DL/LB, but let’s get real….if Coker or TMac so much as pulls a hammy, we are fuged.

I guess technically they “grafted” it. His scar is bigger from taking that piece of Patella for the graft than for the knee the was repaired 3 times
-
Brooks had a botch in his first surgery or the rehab. It took too long for him to be cleared. Then a quick tear again…it was fuged. If he isn’t ready today…he’s fuging done. TD had double knee surgery the last time. They took his patella tendon from one knee to make the ACL for the other. They usually use hamstring to make the new ACL, but since that failed him twice they went to this other poo. I heard he was screaming out in pain trying to make one revolution on the bike during rehab.

Processing Blue: immediate draft needs

I listened to the first 5 mins and they were correct. Have to get someone to replace Robinson at DT. Probably need an OT too. -

Maybe. His tackling numbers are elite for a nose guard even without long arms. Plug the hole, disengage, and making the tackle. As someone who hate watches Ohio State, he was the baddest MF on that team.
