Ideally we’d have a QB with a missile. You play the exact same way, but with 3-5 true deep shots per game. Defense still isn’t good enough for track meets.

We get it, Bryce sucks. It’s who we have, you guys saw Andy last week. This is who we are for awhile. We run the ball and ask Bryce to hit a couple layups. We’ll win some and lose some. The good QBs don’t grow on trees. We’ve had one, his shoulder fell off his body. Browns have had zero, Dolphins last one had a cameo in Ace Ventura. Sucks to suck.

Potentially. Navigating the plan for QB position for 2026 without knowing what the rest of our season holds is a stretch of an idea anyway. AR has the physical tools, the anti Bryce in that regard. There is no “sounds good” option until we draft our guy. All the good teams drafted their QBs sans the Rams and Lions that swapped for each other.

Tough to say who will actually be available, but Geno Smith potentially. Anthony Richardson potentially. Smaller guy, but Minshew.

There’s no way in hell we draft a QB early in 2026. Bring in a vet with good size and a good arm to pair with Bryce. Got to see how the rest of this season goes to see if he’s brought in as a backup or a competitor.

I was told by everyone on here that 2025 was weak and 2026 would be better. Crazy I heard the same stuff the year before, and the year before that. Joking aside, 2026 QB are ass.

Bryce made some key throws and scrambles for us. Doesn’t mean he won us the game, but we didn’t win in spite of him either. Look, I know we need a QB that can drive the ball deep, but what we got right now is Bryce. When he is able to make some guys miss in the pocket and get him a little scramble and he starts cheesing, he can be serviceable. Trent Dilfer and Rex Grossman played in Superbowls. You can win like this, but eventually we’ll have to upgrade.

Serviceable RB may be a dime a dozen. Game changers are not. Chuba Hubbard has never been a game changer. I appreciate his service, but the Carolina Panthers have needed to level up for a LONG time. Thanks Chuba for helping us not get blown out every week I guess? The guy is not getting a statue for best player on 2-15 and 5-12 teams.

I like Dan and Dave. I think they can build this thing. Dave’s energy alone gives him a leg up on cornball conman Rhule and the dry Thanksgiving leftovers that was Frank Reich. Dave needs to have a real OC, he’s not a great play caller and needs to focus on the Pete Carroll rah rah schtick. Things change fast tho. We were supposed to have a ready made OLine Bryce’s rookie year, Bozeman got fat, Ickys sophomore slump and a slew of injuries. It was hell. Had to bring a Brinks truck for two guards. Getting over the hump in the NFL is a tall task. Staying over it is nearly impossible without Brady/Mahomes. If they get behind somewhere before showing consistency it will be over for them too.

Logan Wilson is better than both our starters. Don’t be fooled by some recent ok play from our guys, still the weakest position on the team and Wilson has been a middle of the road starter for his career.

Sanders is a drive killer. That’s who he is as an NFL player.

He’s actually got a good little dip/turn thing in the pocket. Pretty smooth little deal when you are about to get killed by some 6-4 300 behemoth. When he can’t do that move or roll out and gets drilled, he takes it like a man, much less grimacing than our previous #1 overall QB. He’s also an efficient runner when he’s decisive. Bryce is his best after a little 20 yard scramble. Gives him confidence that he doesn’t have as a pocket passer.

This is really simple. You play Rico until he’s tired and asks for a break. You also sub in Chuba during obvious passing situations because Rico can’t block for poo. That’s it, that’s the rotation.

If Tet means Daddy I don’t see it as a bad thing. “Daddy McMillan” sounds just as normal as TMac or Nalo or other weird poo

He lost me for good at Arizona. Had zero moxie. I need our qb to have some gunslinger mentality and in reality it’s what the rest of the players want too.

I don’t think black helmets with blue shirts and white pants would look right. As a major white pants supporter, I hereby declare that the Panthers helmet should be white.

Give me good blockers that catch everything. JT Sanders is a step back in blocking and hands from what we’ve saw from Evans so far. JT is a plus athlete, so is XL. But not being a fundamentally sound football player would limit your role on my team.
