  1. The need for a stout front seven on Defense outweighs the need for a top tier CB at this time. Get the Dline right and stop the run/ pressure the QB, will make the biggest difference. Add a CB in the mid rounds. Not having to cover wideouts forever with a good pass rush makes a big difference.
  2. He is having a decent season with the Niners and is still young. Should they have tried to keep him and see what shakes out? Could have used him this season definitely. Had promise as a pass rushing DE. Don't know much about his ability to set the edge. At 250, he was pretty light in the drawers. Sort of a Burns type built. Worth a contract?
  3. How far do you all think Mason Graham could possibly fall in the draft. Him and Brown together could cure the Dline woes big time. If they do win one or two more games, that may put them of contention for him. If they could snatch him and a quality DE in this draft, defense would be stout and become a force. Find a LB in the draft or FA and possibly a corner, they would be sitting pretty. I know they have to fiqure out a WR 1 and another running back. They have alot of picks to find the RB. They will have to fiqure out if they can find a WR In FA.
  4. They have to take an Oline guy in every draft if possible (or every other draft). Doesn't have to be a high pick, stockpile the best at the spot available. I will die on this hill. One of the most important positions on any team.
  5. The late first round WR that seems to have hands of stone. Hoping that he will "learn" to catch properly and that they can train him up.
  6. Putting all your chips on a "raw prospect", seems foolish to me. Having to take the time of training him up and then hoping for the best in the end. If the move doesn't work out, it's then a waste of a pick and time. This team has been down this road before, and I can't think of one that has worked out. No matter what position. Stop gambling and playing "magic eight" ball in the draft. Choose players that you are sure have the necessary tools to excel. Pick a player who checks all the boxes, especially with a high pick.
  7. Roll with Hubbard and Blackshear. Season is over anyway.
  8. If the draftee can't walk through the door without crutches, don't draft him.
  9. Either you can catch or you can't. That's his one job ( besides getting open ). He can't do what he was drafted to do
  10. 8 hours a day for a forty hour week x 6. Earn the spot.
  11. Don't throw him the ball in any crucial situations. We have seen this show before with past wide receivers. He can't be relied on to make the play.
  12. If a player can't walk, don't draft him
  13. Young is a tough little SOB......and that's a TD
  14. Hanging with KC and Bucs.....now hanging with Philly..... Big time
  15. No more drafting injured players. If they can't walk, don't draft them
  16. When a RB starts having leg problems, then he is near the end. Great player and a good guy. May have to hang it up very soon.
  17. Every draft they should take at least one. Can never go wrong doing that and stock piling road graders. Bryce needs to stay vertical and not pounded into the ground. Our backs need push and holes to run through. Best game plan is to plan for injuries and be able to slot someone in to take up the slack. Time to draft smart and prepare for the inevitable.
