  1. We will the cap next year to do whatever needs to be done.
  2. Road graders and the bulldozer in Foreman and CMC the race horse behind this line. They will either trade someone to get back in the 2nd or 3rd round, or sign Mayfield or Jimmy G. They did say that there will be competition in the QB room. I'm happy with Icky and hoping for much better play on the offense as a whole.
  3. Sure give us their late 1st (or 2nd), and 3rd round pick (if they have one), and throw in Minshew (for a fifth round pick next year). We pick up a decent LT and another good player (defense or offense) and move on to the fourth round.....never happen.
  4. Was it the same surgery? And every player is different. Aren't to many Drew Brees's around.
  5. I am not a Dr. and don't know what the extent of his injury was or how it may effect his future. I know Jake had Tommy John surgery and he was never the same. Is his injury something that should heal 100% with no long term effects or may it possibly cause future problems? All they need is to roll the dice and come up with a guy who can't throw the ball twenty yards.
  6. If he wanted to reference Rome, he should have worn a toga, a wreath on his head, and walked in with a fiddle. Rome wasn't build in a day, but surely was burned to the ground in one.
  7. Pisses me off that Rhule didn't play the kid and now they have no idea what they got. Two days from the draft and they don't know if he can do the job or not. One pick to decide if they can afford to take a premier LT prospect and not gamble on the QB. Total lack of coaching foresight and planning. Don't understand the logic behind not playing him. Explain it to me because I don't get it.
  8. Like it or not, that will probably be the way this goes. They rebuilt the line. If they draft the best LT available (or trade back for a decent prospect) also dropped a bunch of money on him with the extension. Tepper invested the money and probably wants to get his dollars worth. We will see if this pays off.
  9. The guy is set for life with no monetary worries in the future. He will ride the gravy train as long as possible. He will take a college job after this one and be a happy camper. Nice work if you can get it.
  10. Why would a team trying to find a viable long term QB be looking at a thirty year old coming off throwing shoulder surgery??? Explain to me why this would be a good move for any team in a 'rebuilding scenerio'. This has to be a smoke screen by the Panthers or are they as desperate as this might indicate.
  11. Mayfield is not interested in Carolina. Why would they try and force his hand if he is going to be a problem? Are they stupid enough to do this knowing he could cause turmoil on the team and in the locker room? From what I have read his Brown teammates are not very fond of him as a person. What do you think....would they force the issue?
  12. Rumor on the web verse is that he may be traded to the Giants. I think he is starting the rumor actually. Anyone know anything about this at all, or is it all bullshat?
  13. Nope. Especially coming off surgery on his throwing shoulder. Don't think so.
  14. Why would anyone want a player who doesn't want to play here? Mayfield has stated this (from what I understand). Just a lot of trouble and hassle for the team.
  15. No problem...fans won't be crying either when he leaves. He can take his money and G.T.F.O now.....c ya
  16. Rhule wouldn't give him enough snaps last season to fiqure out what the guys got. Now they are wondering if he can be the guy or draft a LT two weeks before the draft. One big cluster fug as usual with this coach.
  17. Next change will be to a new state......stay tuned in a few years. Then his metamorphosis will be complete.
  18. If it is GOING to be one of the two, make it be Jimmy G. Trade back in the draft( if they can do it)and get a LT in the first and a QB in the 2nd. Don't want Mayfield
  19. Brand??.....fuggin joke is what it is.
  20. Everybody, everywhere has issues or has in their past. Either emotionally, mentally, or with some sort of crutch like alcohol etc. There is only so many Saints. The guy seems like he faced the demons and moved on. How many people in their twenties can say that or even accept they have issues. He deserves a shot. Plenty of ability and seems to have a fire in the belly. This team could use that.
