The impressive throw you wanted from Bryce
CBDellinger replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
after it careens off his out stretched hands... you can look at the stills yourself. Its on page 1. DB might be pulling DJs hand back... but he never touched the ball. -

its is in front of him. it hit the wr in the dang facemask with a missed stunt rush bearing down... he threw it over the line hitting the wr in stride... and he hit Ian in the facemask the play b4. Its absurd. -

They arent used to being told no and they tend to gravitate towards people that confirm their own bias. When you are worth 20Bs, most of it in cash, you are always right! "Look how right I am... count the zeros in my bank account!! That ish is right as rain." -

This isnt likely to happen for many years, if ever. Bob Kraft micromanaged the poo outta his team. It wasnt until an ugly split with Parcells and a failed stint with Pete Carroll that he realize he needed to get out of the way. No guarantee Tepper ever has that revelation. -

Whos he better than? Theilen? Thats the bar? We still had 3 HoFers in 89, 88 and Shockey on top of that. Thats the point. -

LaFail would be the best wr on this team. -

Hard pass. I dont believe in Tepper. He's never done anything to earn my trust. -

You musta never watched 89 play in person. One of the few legit tilt the field talents at wr... and theres not a WR or TE on the current roster that could hold 88s jock. -

Its always wonky comparing players on different teams from different eras. So many non constant variables. It does make it fun to discuss tho, just sucks we have to compare so much suck. -

Cam had arguably the strongest arm of any qb in the league when he came out. He also struggled throwing touch passes. Guy just didnt have a medium velocity. When his arm went it was crowd the box an stop him from running, game over. -

I get the point of the thread but its a bad comp. Cam had 3 future HoFers catching passes. Right now we have DJ Chark, Thielen and a damn rookie. No question BY would look better with that cast around him. Any QB would. -
Drafting a guy to the place where he grew up is a recipient for disaster. He knows all the good and alllll the bad. That’s just how it is for locals.

Use a lead blocker, get the running game going
CBDellinger replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m for anything that gets the run game going. It’s the key to success. -
The joke is on anyone who believed he could actually be that type of player. There’s a reason why the jags were willing to part with him. He’s just not very good.

Scott Fitterer Set Us Back A Decade w/ Two Trades
CBDellinger replied to App Panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
In the last 5 years or so its been a 50/50 proposition. I guess it just depends on your talent evaluators and the situation the qb is drafted into. Chiefs traded up for Mahomes trade was 2 firsts and a 3rd. Great success!! Next year, 2018, Buffalo traded up to get Josh Allen. Went from 12 to 7 for a 1st and two back to back second round picks in that years draft. That worked out OK. Same year Jets traded up for Darnold cost them a 1 and 3 seconds. That sucked. Since then the only other top 10 trade up was for Trey Lance. Fart. -

He flashed a few times. Not like he is playing Zach Wilson level football. -

it could happen. and if it does then these trades will not have set us back a decade. -
what is up with Andy Dalton coming in for QB sneaks?
CBDellinger replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers
They didn’t bring in dalton to run a sneak. They brought him into make everyone think they were running a sneak, then they tossed it outside. deuce is right tho.
