  1. Six fewer yards - 22 fewer points. Makes sense for a team that routinely checks out for sections of a game/
  2. Did Moehrig buy a ticket? How bad is it when Nick Scott is fighting for a tackle while the "all world run stopper" is basically a member of a nearby quilting group.
  3. So, we just going into a cocoon and hoping we can hold them to 28 at the half? Between the invisible D and hapless ST I have no idea why offense can play it safe.
  4. Classic Panthers - gonna be another game when if we could omit a short portion of the game they could be in it. One of thew most mentally weak pro sports teams in existence.
  5. If the opposing O can get around Brown and avoid throwing near Horn they are almost sure to score.
  6. RB stumbles into end zone while Rozeboom is being pushed off the field
  7. We just can't have nice things - not when Nick Scott is on the field to rescue the other team
  8. I'd be fine with trading Prince. I think he's a good player with great upside, but it would save me from having to learn how to say his last name.
  9. Just an slight edit - And I bet it wouldn't take your boss 8 years to find someone that could do your job better than way below average while also refraining from taking any of the boss's spotlight / credit . . .
  10. Should have kept him. He'd be our QB and would also start at LB since Morgan fields a defense that seems to believe that LB is not necessary.
  11. This. It seems like the front office is far more interested in coming up with a "find" than fielding a winning team. As a result, they are getting talked about a good bit - just not the way they want. I still say to take the top draft guides and rank the players 1-275. Then send in a ball boy, equipment manager or cheerleader to pick the highest player left on the board. If this was our process, we'd be way ahead on our rebuild. Instead, we get these mystery picks with 31 other GM's/coaches scratching their heads while they do their jobs. For proof I offer XL, DJ Johnson, Trevin Wallace, Jonatha Mingo, etc. The only "benefit" we get is UDFA's coming in and beating out the mystery picks.
  12. A man can't work on his brand and play football at the same time. He's probably also working on some new recipes for Thanksgiving that he can share when the writers come round to hear him talk. I still don't know why he gets so much press for so little production.
  13. Once the Cardinals came out of prevent and played D, wonder Bryce was completely shut down
  14. Never seen anyone so big go down so easy. Hoping he doesn't run out of bounds and get taken out by a cheerleader.
  15. I'd take XL's PR team - they've been unbelievable at making something out of nothing.
  16. And we'll hear from the same people who get revved up when we win a few games that don't matter. They'll say "did you see Bryce move the team in the second half?" And we'll say, "I think so, didn't it follow the incredibly bad turnovers in the first half and also come against a soft, prevent defense"?
  17. Why would we want Ladd ? Without XL we wouldn't have: a) raccoon sandwiches b) A stunning physical specimen that can't catch . . . or think (thrown out of preseason game for fighting, run out of bounds while looking for camera instead of sideline, misses assignments. c) World class personality whose performance appears to lag well behind his headlines. His size seems to be a plus but he quickly ate dirt after being bumped by one safety and thought he'd knock out another one until that guy put him on the ground after dodging his flurry of air boxing. McConkey is boring in comparison - no foods named after him - no videos to hear his accent- he's too busy catching balls and making plays to be a interesting character. Brooks was a risk as well as Wallace. No matter who our GM is, we are always taking "surprise players", believing we know something others don't and it turns out the others knew something we didn't. We'd honestly be better off just making a list combining several draft boards and picking the highest rated player when our turn comes.
  18. Corbett snaps harder than Bryce throws. I'd take Phillies Karen as D Coordinator. She'd throw out the incense, turn off the soft music and teach the guys how to grab people and say "it's my ball". I'm done with the Evero is a genius fans. How does a GM who effectively played LB come close to believing we are anywhere near okay in that position? Also done with the Canales is a details guy. Week after week we allow the small things to be missed and turn into much larger things. We'll never become winners until we master the details. I do give front office credit for T-Mac - he appears to be a baller. Moehrig - a run stopper? Seems like you need to be in position to do that effectively. While it's easy to blame Tepper - it does seem like he has stepped back a little and that also seems to show it's not just him. That's all for now - need to go vomit again.
  19. Any chance you'd want to wager on that - I'd even give you credit if they were in the top 5
  20. Love how they are prasing Jags defense when we just keep imploding. Main thing I've seen that they have improved is interior run defense. I guess their D does look good in contrast to ours.
  21. Announcers had a better idea of what Phillies Karen was trying to do than Bryce air mailing 10 yards over open man
  22. Can someone tell XL that if you catch the ball out of bounds it doesn't count?
  23. Worst decision Bryce could have made on 4th down - looked like he inherited Leggete's decision making - just awful. Got to get a first down or throw it where someone gets a chance
