If a QB requires everything to be perfect to look good that is also a problem. It’s alarming how much Bryce appears to rely on momentum and confidence and a decked out o-line. He might have the mind for the game but the physical tools aren’t present to just play the game down for down. Piggybacking off an earlier comment, Matt Moore would look like Favre in this offense. Cam wish he had a supporting cast like this. Delhomme would be a top 5 QB in his peak on this squad. Steve Beuerlein would look like a god. Im not giving up on Bryce yet but he was the #1 pick. That kind of player elevates a team and doesn’t rely on the supporting cast. He must arrive and show us something this game.

Hate to say it but not having Coker out there is making a difference.

The story goes Fox wasn’t a fan because Moore wasn’t a rah rah guy like Jake was. We take Clausen in 2010 and Moore had no leash to grow or make any mistakes. I believe he got concussed at one point as well. The offense was always better under Moore vs Clausen. The time to play Moore was benching Jake at half time vs Arizona.

Matt Moore was underrated and never given a fair chance to be the guy. I will die on that hill. 2008 Panthers with Matt Moore would have crushed Arizona in the divisional round.

Maybe the delay will help us calm down and reset.

The way the team finished last year should be able to handily beat the Jaguars. A new year is a new year though.

This game feels like a trap. I think we can win without Icky and Coker but as the first game in the season I’m not sure. We need to come out explosive with confidence.

Don't disagree but Coker's the only one who has really showed results.

With Coker I had us favored. But without him I'm unsure if the chemistry is there with Renfrow to make those 3rd down grabs. But hey if Bryce is who everyone thinks he is then it shouldn't matter.

How do we know this isn't just BS? Like two weeks ago we saw an article saying Coker put the work in and that he actually lost weight? I'm the biggest 89 fan but I don't put a ton of weight into what he says about other WRs. Bottom line Coker is the playmaker of this offense.
