  1. IF we don’t end up going QB… Luther Burden has to seriously be in consideration due to us lacking a pure downfield threat Regardless of how Moton does this year I’d imagine they’ll be keeping a close eye on the tackles again especially if we’re sticking with Bryce. We’d save 17 million by cutting Moton after this season. Luther Campbell Banks Beck Pearce I imagine we’ll have a top 5 pick. Defense would be my last priority if that’s the case I assume Sanders or Ewers will go top 5 bumping someone down to us if we don’t end up drafting one of the QB’s after Beck
  2. There is literally not one thing Bryce does better than CJ Bryce is supposedly a playmaker… the amount of plays CJ extended last season and made things happen while Bryce just stood there and let himself get hit a lot more than he needed to Thats why Dave is harping on this 2.7 seconds crap. If nothing is there in 2.7 seconds then move. This isn’t Bama, Bryce
  3. Plus Corbett is a free agent after this year With all the money they just spend on the guards you’d think have a center on a rookie deal would be an absolute must So even if Corbett performs well they’re going to have to pay him next offseason
  4. Yep The trade would’ve been worth it had we picked Stroud and he led us to the playoffs last year Nothing else matters if you land a top 5 QB (which Stroud is)
  5. His deep ball answer yesterday didn’t exactly sound like he had much confidence in Young’s ability to do it
  6. https://x.com/famouslygarnet/status/1820265101041049811?s=46&t=W75E23VenL1ei42iX22E5g Funny if true
  7. The only reason I could see Canales wanting to sit Bryce would be due to not wanting to put him behind Zavala and co and having bad habits already resurface in preseason However with Lewis already dealing with a shoulder, Moton knee in sleeve, Corbett a ticking time bomb Bryce better get used to playing behind those other pylons
  8. Didn’t Canales come in talking about how preseason matters? Coming off of a season the way we did and with the offense looking like garbage in camp, in what world should Bryce playing significant time in the preseason be up for debate?
  9. No Johnson works a lot of the area’s Bryce is able to get the ball to. Mingo is more a deep threat than Johnson. Mingo’s numbers suffered big time last year due to Young’s arm. Johnson will still get his even if deep shots are limited
  10. Meanwhile we had a poster here asking the other day how arm strength benefits a QB lol
  11. He’s going to be the one who suffers most from having a physically limited QB
  12. Not hard to figure out why 99% of the plays in camp are short throws
  13. https://x.com/4mr_fetti/status/1820100844601115064?s=46&t=W75E23VenL1ei42iX22E5g so what’s the excuse here?
  14. Some piss poor throws sprinkled throughout this video
  15. Yep. If Corbett goes down again or simply isn’t even average at C then the entire thing goes to sh!t. They’ve invested a crap load of money. A top 10 pick in Ickey. Crappy center play can easily blow the entire thing up
  16. Yep I don’t want to hear anything about how this stuff doesn’t matter The offense has been getting worked all camp. After last years horrific offensive showing it’s beyond fair to be worried at this point
  17. Man this is sure starting to sound very similar to last season already
  18. Still think it was massive mistake not properly addressing center in the draft. I was hoping they’d take Fraizer in the 2nd. Invested a crap load of money in the IOL but then just stuck Corbett right in the middle… With people already starting to get concerned about all the pressure coming from the middle in camp it’s concerning
  19. https://x.com/fpfo_podcast/status/1819863429328363655?s=46&t=W75E23VenL1ei42iX22E5g like this from Canales. It’s what was missing last year. I’m excited to see what Mingo does this season. A lot of clips with Bryce moving around whether it be rolling out or Canales moving the pocket… that should make a massive difference
  20. Ok it’s obvious most here have never played a second at WR or CB here’s a pic right after the ball has left Young’s hand. In order for Diontae to already be this open I don’t need to see what happened at the LOS because I know Johnson won clean If you’re honestly trying to justify the ball placement then please enlighten me, when would it be an appropriate time for Young to lead his WR inbounds for 6?
  21. Johnson left a lot of room between him and the boundary. There was no need to use all of it and force Johnson to make a helluva catch. I mean, Young just had one of the worst rookie seasons in history. Of course there’s going to be criticism headed his way. Young’s deep ball has always been a concern. Accuracy and lack there of. Teams weren’t respecting anything deep last year and that plays a massive role in limiting an offense. So this deep ball thing is kind of a big deal especially in todays NFL
  22. I explain to you what’s happening and nothing in here is football related. Not surprised
  23. At some point you need to realize you’re making daily excuses for Young. Yesterday it was 2.7 seconds isn’t enough time to take a deep shot. It is. Clearly because here it is. Today it’s a LB in his face. Jewell runs out of the way and Wallace pulls up. It’s practice. No one is hitting Young and he knows that. Im glad he chucked it up but his deep ball accuracy is something even parts of the pro Bryce crowd is questioning and a throw like that isn’t great
  24. Johnson has steps on this guy. There is no reason for this ball to be thrown so far outside. This should be a touchdown Some of you are so desperate to convince yourselves that Bryce is the guy. That’s fine. I get it. It sucks when the Panthers suck. But don’t get all pissy when obvious things get pointed out
