  1. Oh gee my mistake. Runs like he’s 36 Also doesn’t change my point at all
  2. I think some of these GM’s feel pressured to take the guy the media pushes as a can’t miss prospect Caleb Williams and Bryce both had red flags coming out but the media ignored those and claimed Caleb was a generational talent Imagine passing on one of these guys and the media actually turns out to be right for once. You’re toast. Poles and Fitterer can at least say they took the guy the majority of teams would’ve taken first
  3. The situation last year wasn’t bad 100% of the time though. There are so many plays last year that were similar to this year where Bryce simply didn’t throw the damn ball. Dalton did the same thing in Seattle last year as he did in LV this year. He proved it wasn’t as bad as Bryce made it seem I think both Bryce and Caleb Williams are so used to hanging back there in the pocket for so long that the speed of the NFL game is really going to take some serious time to adjust to. The problem for Bryce though is that he lacks the physical tools whereas Caleb doesn’t. That ball Dalton threw to Thielen isn’t a pass Bryce would ever attempt in a million years and that’s the problem
  4. We aren’t winning the Super Bowl this year This staff keeps pushing the whole developmental thing so having a 36 year old WR out there while our 1st round rookie WR that we traded up for sits on the bench doesn’t do us a ton of favors long term Jeez, 1 win and some of you completely change course. Tepper is the same way
  5. Beck Ward Sanders Nuss Ewers McMillian Burden Hunter Campbell Banks Graham
  6. Agreed Now that Dalton’s playing there really isn’t a reason for Thielen to be out there. Like you said, we really need to see what we have in Mingo (especially) but XL as well
  7. I really didn’t understand what the rush was to pay him This is only year 4 for him. Had this year and next years team option. They could’ve watched this play out a little longer. Based on his first 3 seasons it would’ve been a bet I felt safe taking
  8. Andy Dalton is about to turn 37. ”a couple years”? This fan base has suffered through such crappy QB play for so many years that one good Andy Dalton performance has some of you thinking crazy
  9. Nussmeier is going to be a guy once the draft rolls around. If we don’t go QB it’ll either be one of the top two tackles or we desperately need a true WR1 Mingo has been a ghost. Thielen is old as hell. Diontae FA. A true WR1 can change an entire offense
  10. Drew Lock was with Canales in Seattle. Wouldn’t be surprised if they went after him I wouldn’t even be opposed to Wilson or Lance if Canales wanted them. Just give him someone with a damn NFL arm
  11. Need to sign one of the young FA QB’s this offseason to see what Canales can do with them
  12. Knowing Tepper I’d prefer we get the 1st overall pick because if we’re sitting at 6-10 range he’s going to trade up again for a QB
  13. It’s going to take a Dalton injury for them to be able to ever go back to Bryce now
  14. If Nussmeier keeps doing what he’s doing then he’s going 1st round for sure
  15. We don’t even have to win. If Dalton just does what he did in Seattle last year then the Bryce excuses need to stop
  16. It’s the same national media that was sucking Bryce off the entire pre draft process The national media all just piggyback off each other when it comes time to the draft A lot easier to blame the mess that is the Panthers than to admit how horribly wrong they were about Bryce
  17. I said elsewhere I actually like Sanders the football player. I love the Geno comp for him. I worry about some of the sacks that aren’t on the OL. Very much like I did with Bryce hell, I’d be all for Carolina convincing Sanders to play here. We’re going to need someone who is used to a circus like environment in order to succeed here
  18. Shadeur takes soooooo many sacks. His pressure to sack rate can’t be good. Yeah his OL is bad but like Bryce he doesn’t do himself many favors often
  19. Bryce took a sack in the preseason because he refused to throw the ball downfield I mentioned it when it happened. As soon as I saw that I knew nothing had changed
  20. I honestly believe Plummer would do more than Bryce has Plummer has at least shown the willingness to throw the ball past 10 yards
  21. I agree. I don’t even care if it’s someone we take 1st overall, let him sit a year I don’t think there was any amount of “developing” that was going to do anything differently for Bryce though. His arm was never getting better. He was never getting bigger. Allar has all the tools. I haven’t been a fan but I’d definitely get behind the pick knowing he has the tools and would be given a chance to sit and develop with Canales
  22. I seriously can’t believe there are people who still think this was a Canales decision. Actually having been on this board for as long as I have I can believe it but still
