Reported asking price from Raiders for #1
*FreeFua* replied to Peon Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
I said that as soon as the trade happened Including DJ allowed for us to send SF’s 2nd rounder instead of ours which is a pretty big deal Then obviously we got to keep our 1st rounder in 2025 If we end up trading a 3rd or 4th for Nuk to replace DJ then we really did do well -
I believe Terrace (if he stays healthy) can put up Michael Pittman Jr numbers in this offense We need someone of Dionte’s mold who has the speed and can line up anywhere to compliment Terrace though There are a couple guys in the draft that could fill this role but we’d be asking a lot from a lot of young guys then. Which is why Thielen would’ve been a really nice signing

Locker room risk? Genuinely asking, I haven’t seen anything about that stuff on him before

I wonder if the Steelers would trade Dionte Johnson

Realstic Options Given Remaining Cap Space???
*FreeFua* replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
They can sign or trade for whoever they want They’re taking the bulk of the cap hits next season on all these new contracts Fitterer has already blown through a lot of the space Panthers fans keep talking about next year -
He put on a show last year at OSU’s pro day 13:47 they start running post routes. I assume he’s throwing from the 35. Balls are landing on the 5
-
We’re definitely a team that can offer him a larger role on offense but yeah… He’s another guy that may want a 1 year deal to show what he can do as a WR and not so much as a gadget type guy. That doesn’t fit with our cap situation There’s also a handful of guys in the draft that can play his type of role that can be had after round 1 which isn’t helping his market
-
Hardman isn’t liking the offers he’s getting. Which is why he remains a FA Teams view him as a one trick pony hence him tweeting out him running actual routes

The 2020 Colts offense was 10th in yards and 9th in points If you go watch how that offense moved the ball it plays to all of CJ’s strengths CJ would absolutely cook in that 2020 offense. Reich was able to have success with Rivers whose arm was on its last legs
-
So in this scenario we like 3 guys but drop down to 4? Leaving the door wide open for someone to trade to 3 Sounds like a solid plan to me
-
If only NFL GM’s were as slow as some of the people here then maybe Fitterer’s little game would work It would still take 100% confidence that Houston doesn’t want their guy and that’s a risk I doubt they’re willing to take

Yes they are You’re the only person the Panthers seem to be fooling here Fitterer tells the beat reporters they’re open to trading down after making the trade. These beat reporters take it and run with it which is exactly what the Panthers want. The big name “insider” guys then start throwing it around and that’s how this all works The Panthers traded up to get their guy. They don’t have 2-3 in mind. They have 1. The ONLY team they’d trade with is Houston. Carolina wants to get Houston to trade up a spot for a guy that they’re not taking. It’s not happening. It’s actually all pretty ridiculous

I have a hard time imagining Chark getting anything more than a 1 year deal from any other team Which is why our cap situation makes signings like this tough So for us we have to add years to fit these guys in and taking the majority of the hit next year
-
I would pump the brakes. They’re already making an absolute mess with the cap Von bell, Shy Tuttle, Hayden Hurst and Miles = $37 mill next season. None of them can be cut to save anything of significance. So I’m sure they’ll restructure some of these but these are the exact types of contracts you don’t want to be restructuring. Just like they already did with Donte which was so unnecessary People think we have a boat load of cash next year but that doesn’t account for Burns extension which will be a big hit since they’ll lower this years number, Derrick brown 5th year option (11 mill), Jeremy Chinn is a FA, Luvu will be a FA, Shaq‘s new extension isn’t counted for yet. I’m sure I’m forgetting a few other things Like I said earlier, Scott has a job to save and he is absolutely destroying our future for guys like Tuttle, Bell and Hurst. We’re about to have the benefit of a QB on a rookie deal and I don’t want to see the same thing happen as it did when we had Cam

Unreal. This is a fantastic deal for the Pats. The Hurst deal was already iffy money wise now it looks worse Hurst breakdown is up
-
Foreman at 3 mill > Sanders at 4/26 Its not even close
-
There’s no way If we want Bryce why would we trade back? The Texans will figure that out before a trade happens This whole game of whatever they’re playing only works if they legit didn’t know which QB they wanted and were cool with QB3 at pick 3. Which someone would have to trade up for then trade up to 1. Which also isn’t happening
-
His deal would need to be structured very similar to Campbell’s

I came across this piece if anyone is interested

Please go get Nuk today and stop messing around
