  1. I'd say if we dont get a video of Tepper in the locker room it was all worth it.
  2. I'm where you are. We're 7 years into this rebuild and we need to know if Bryce is our QB for the next 5 years. To pay 40-50m AAV for a QB when we don't really know what he can or can't do because we've never pushed the issue is a problem. Today was the opportunity, up by a lot with no risk of losing to open it up. We didnt. We missed a perfect opportunity to evaluate with no risk of loss in a game situation.
  3. It was more a comment about the overall feel of the game as a whole than individual plays. This doesn't feel like an offense that can line up and drive 90 yards in 60 seconds. Is there a 2 minute offense? 1 minute? Now whether that's Canales or Bryce or a combo of both, who can say with 100% certainty. I didnt walk away from this game thinking to myself this team laid down a 30-0 ass whooping. Games like that have a different feel to them. This didn't. We won, but it didn't feel our offense was dominant. It felt like they played really badly and we didn't screw it up.
  4. Too me, there's a dozen JAGs you can insert at QB in this limited offense and get the same results. This play book is just bland. We need to honestly evaluate Bryce's potential and that's going to require pushing his and Canales' limits. Right now, Bryce's ceiling is T2G. Check down king. I want more. Divisional wins don't move the needle for me after 7 years of losing badly. I want winning seasons.
  5. Depends on if it really was a hamstring injury or not. If it was a healthy scratch I'd be more inclined to believe it was a benching for poor performance.
  6. I picked up Atl def in all my fantasy leagues this week thats wtf
  7. Prices being charged to watch a team thats been pathetic for 7 years is the reason.
  8. Panthers have a chance this week. I picked up Atl defense in all my fantasy leagues.
  9. Maybe if you forget his rookie season like we've all tried to do.
  10. I don't know how people are still paying for them. Everyone I know sold at a loss or just walked away. I wouldn't even pay for parking if the tickets were free at this point.
  11. Going back and reading this thread is interesting to say the least.
  12. Wouldn't have been a bad play if the pick had been McConkey.
  13. He's right. Tepper ain't the one out there dropping balls, or missing blocks, or putting up having comically bad drafts. He's the one responsible for hiring the people that have kept our scouting department that has been one of the worst at evaluating college talent in the NFL. He forced the transition to the 3-4 even though we've never fully committed to it and never been able to draft or sign the players to do it. He's the one that signed used car salesman Fat Fhule that hadn't even won a game against a ranked opponent. Then he signed a GM that was one of if not the worst GM in the history of the NFL, only to replace him with his assistant. Frank Reich hired and fired in 9 games. Multiple potential hires for HC turning down interviews. Changing QBs like underwear. Personal quest to trade for a sexual predator QB and would have if the contract didnt have to be 100% guaranteed. Terrible contracts Rock Hill debacle 2023 trade up to 1 and him and his wife drafting BY Worst defense in NFL history. Worst record in major league sports over the time frame of his ownership and the fans need to be patient and understanding of an 8 year and counting rebuild? There being any fans left is a goddamn miracle.
  14. Must have been to tired from making videos for the hurry up.
  15. It probably would be. Given that most 6th and 7th rounders aren't NFL game day material except on the Panthers, the pick might improve us slightly with a drafted player, but I'd like to see us actually be able to open up the field. I do think some of our offensive problem stem from defenses aren't afraid of Bryce's arm. They cover a short field and that makes life a lot easier for them. If it doesn't work though, unless we get rid of the scouting department and whatever drafting algorithm Dave is making us use, it won't really matter anyway.
  16. Can't wait to see what we have in players until next year. Bite the bullet, send a late rounder for Jameis or Howell and let it fly.
  17. Burns and Reddick were essentially the same player here, minus the Spiderman sack celebration.
  18. I've been assured this is absolutely not the case because there are big linemen in college too.
  19. Its bad but we're only 2 games in. Just accepting it and doing nothing sends a worse message IMO. We should make a move for a QB that we could at minimum have as legit camp competition next year so we can move on from Dalton.
  20. There was nothing wrong with moving on with Ron and Marty. But who knew Tepper would hold a limbo contest and see just how low under that bar we could go. So he held tryouts.
  21. I was never a WR or RB so I dont know the answer to this question, but could it be a speed on the ball thing? I remember Cam used to throw a rocket even on a short pass and guys had difficulty catching it because the pass was too hard. Bryce doesn't appear to throw as hard as most QBs to me, again, never played the position so I'm not sure. I've wondered if it doesn't feel right hitting the hands. Maybe too soft a pass and it doesn't snug up into the hands for a good grip like a harder pass would. Just a thought.
