  1. You don’t trade away a lot of your draft picks during a rebuild. It was also said multiple times they were building to try and win the division now. None of their actions have indicated any type of rebuild strategy. It’s been a failed attempt to win a terrible division this and last season.
  2. TMJ straight up trade. So damn good he didn’t even register.
  3. We're not rebuilding and are currently 0-6. How is rebuilding worse than this?
  4. We were out the second he said he wanted stable management. This franchise is pretty much the epitome of dysfunctional.
  5. The rumor was Hopkins didn't want to play with a rookie QB and only wanted to go to a team that would be in contention. Carolina is definitely neither of those things. We could trade for Nuke, but would he even want to be here? We didn't want him when he was free (no picks). Why trade for him now?
  6. Not a fuging thing because Fitts will ultimately screw it all up.
  7. It was pretty straightforward headed towards the trade deadline. No one should ever believe that Sam Darnold was leading this team to a deep playoff run. Could we have made the playoffs in one of the worst divisions in NFL history? Sure. Would we be a legitimate contender? Hell no. This team needed to embrace the rebuild. We needed a QB. There was no question about that. Having 5 1sts and 4 2nds over the next 3 years would have been a substantial war chest to go and acquire one in Jackson or trade up for one if that was the route, which it ultimately was, or even to stay firm and take the best pick available. We now lack picks to build around our QB, are devoid of a lot of talent, and have tried to drop a new generation QB into an older generation offense. It's a match made in hell.
  8. I wasn't sure if he was or wasn't the problem. With Rhule being given complete control, there was no way to really tell. I knew we could be in real trouble after rejecting the Burns trade. My suspicions were confirmed on day 2 of the draft we were in trouble. He made the same overreaction panic trade up to acquire a project player that he did when he moved up for MC. May not seem like a huge thing in the grand scheme, but he doesn't seem to have a very good feel for player values and keeping his cool when things don't fall the way you plan.
  9. At this point he needs to be let go and no more trades until the offseason. Anything he does right now is just an attempt to save his job and that's not the way these decisions need to be made.
  10. The huddle has been right more than Scott Fitterer.
  11. Heard on the game today that Allen has never gone more than 2 games without a turnover. Hard to believe a QB of his caliber turns it over so much.
  12. I don't think Burns is the best player on this team. He has the most talent and ability, but right now, I think Luvu actually is a more impactful player on Sundays. In 4 years he's never taken over a game like we saw Garrett do today. That's a guy you pay top DE money for. None of us choose who we get to draft, but if Fitts had gone with a Huddle consensus, we might have had a better outcome.
  13. Hopefully more misdirection, motion and scheming to get receivers open. More use of Chubba as a pounding back. At 0-6, take the reigns off. At this point we have nothing more to lose than games, and losing it what this team has done best so far. I have a feeling though if we do so any of these things, Reich will step back in and enforce his old school offense because it's out of his comfort zone.
  14. Between the draft picks, injury history, salary cap, and considering we weren't just a QB away, I didn't think it was a good idea. Our problems are so much bigger than just QB at this point. We all have different approaches to building teams. I'm not sure just dropping LJ into this poo show would have resulted in much of a difference between BY. This team is one gigantic steaming pile that starts in the owners box.
  15. Creating seperation has always been his thing. He works hard at getting open. It's not all about speed. It's also about not tipping your hand with body language how you're going to move.
  16. Author Smith game planning 101. Makes no fuging sense at all. Trade Miles, Hurst and TMJ for Pitts, Bijan and London.
  17. Imagine drafting a WR, TE, and RB in the first round the past 3 years and them having 5 combined touches.
  18. Not exactly true. All the Ravens had to do was match the contract offer and it was done. No team was going to do all that negotiating on behalf of the Ravens. The 2 firsts were only if they chose not to match the offer. If a team wanted Lamar, they were going to have to pay the asking price in picks the Ravens wanted.
  19. Rumors were 3 1sts, at least 2 2nds plus the contract price. As bad as Fitts has been with picks, they should have made the trade. I admit, I was vehemently against it because of the estimated cost, but I severely underestimated the stupidity of this FO and incompetence of this coach staff with assembling a team. Of course, Frank would have turned Lamar into Ryan Leaf, but I digress. For the extra 40m a season, Lamar would have made the most sense.
  20. I am positive Zod got liquored up last night and forgot what week it was.
  21. Tell me you've been drinking without telling me you've been drinking.
  22. Hire Scott Fitterer again just so I could get the one to fire him
