Haven't followed HS football in years but seems like the NCHSAA has watered down the playoffs, 8A? 7A? I remember 4 classification, what's the reasoning from going away from 4A or 4AA system?

Atlanta would be winning this game handily if not for the refs, every Tampa Bay offensive drive has been aided by flags, and every Falcons offensive drive has been stalled by flags.

Actually the other poster was referencing last season when Rico played for Dallas, he referenced a 49ers game where they held him check as evidence of him slowing down towards the end of last season, but that 49ers game was sandwiched between 2 previous monsters games against Cincinnati and the Panthers and followed by another monster gane against the Eagles. So I just didn't see the evidence of him slowing down. Bottomline we need rushed 40 times against the Rams regarded as the best team in the league and eclipsed 164 yards. We're not capable of beating teams in the air consistently we need a dominant run game not mediocre, not just ok, but a dominant one that keep our defense rested and allows us to take shots in the passing game.

Oh definitely their passing numbers would be much better with Dak. Stafford, Maye, Dak are my top 3 Qbs for the season. Hurts had a bad game turnover wise but he hasn't thrown many picks this season. They haven't had the dominant run game like their previous Super Bowl seasons, and Hurts needs that to succeed he's not a drop back and throw it 35-40 times type Qb.

Dak has better receivers now. And Williams has nearly 300 more rushing yards in the season than Barkely. What Dak needs is the Eagles defense or any defense.

He's not bad. He's just proof you don't need a all pro Qb like some here think to win and play in Super Bowls. Build your roster up.

Dowdle averaged 4.4 yards and 4.5 yards in both games against the Eagles. He had a bad outing against the 49ers sure, but the week before that he averaged 6.0 yards against the Panthers and the week before that 7.3 against the Bengals. I'm not going to use a bad 49ers game sandwiched between some really great games as evidenced he was slowing down. He rushed for a 1000 yards in part time duty for the Cowboys and now with similar circumstances with the Panthers he has 929 yards with really 6 true starts. Is he bell cow back I don't think so as he wasn't in college nor as he been in his NFL career but that's not the nature of the position in the NFL currently most teams have a committee approach. But most teams don't have a guy that can take over games like either Dowdle or Chuba. Good teams don't let good players walk I doubt Rico is going to demand franchise back money. Chuba's on pace maybe for 600 yards this season, he's only missed 2 games. I dont want to role with that and the mystery bag that is Brooks and Etienne when we have back to back consecutive 1000 yard RB already in the fold.

The last two games of the season for Dallas, Dowdle had 45 carries and 176 yards how is that slowing down? Panthers now have a rushing attack that can take over games, they need to continue this momentum if they planning to role with Bryce.

You take stats with an asterisk in raining conditions like that.

As I stated Tampa had 4 divisional games in the last 5 weeks thats a tough task for any team to run the gauntlet, Now we just have handle business in our head to head and we can win this division.

Tampa Bay has 4 divisional games left on their schedule and a pesky Miami Dolphins team who took down Buffalo which is proof its hard to sweep divisional opponents regardless of records. Tampa Bay hasn't played like a team this season that can go 6-0 in the division. I think either the Saints or Falcons trip them up in the next two weeks, then the Panthers just have to do their job.

The only thing last week shows is even the games you claim Chuba looked better he still had worse stats. Rushing Dowdle: 6 carries, 38 yards, 6.3 avg. Hubbard: 3 carries, 16 yards, 5.3 avg. Receiving Dowdle: 4 catches, 36 yards, 9.0 avg Hubbard: 4 catches, 27 yards, 6.8 avg

Dude there's nothing in Chuba game that proves he's better, not burst, not vision, not hands. The only thing I'll concede Rico seems to wear down. Chuba couldn't have done anything he's never done before, this year isn't the first time the Panthers have played some sketchy defenses. Hate I have to throw shade at Chuba after his best game of the season but this is ridiculous. Maybe Chuba will rush for 100 yards in a game in this season, this was his best by far.

I was tempted to but I can't pull that trigger and bet against the Panthers. Most of the game I would be rooting to lose my money.

Chuba had 1 good game out of a 13 week season cut it out. He definitely has the fresher legs at this point. But Rico was still almost as productive as Chuba was in his best game of the season.

Definitely the game plan we should have had against the 49ers glad Dave was able to adjust. Hopefully he coaches to the strength of the team going forward good game.

Green Bay actually has a good defense much better than the 49ers. This game should of been reflective of Dallas and Miami with both offenses moving the ball and the first defense that gets a stop wins at the end. Nothing about 49ers defensive numbers show they were capable of shutting down anything other than an incompatible offense that clearly the Panthers have.

So do the 49ers though you look at their defensive metrics they were near the bottom in about everything that mattered. I'm sure we helped their stats now however with our (offensive) performance.

Good thing we have a schedule that might oblige that.

I'm one of the most optimistic, yall overrating the opponent posters on this board it seems. But we have no shot against the Rams, Stafford not giving us 3 picks like Purdy and they have guys on the outside that can make us look foolish, the 49ers don't they just have Mccaffrey and Kittle. Their defense can also get after the Qb and gives up some of the fewest points in the league. And one of the best coached teams. Bryce and Dave got no chance.

I can see why the Browns organization and fans would have wanted to move on from Baker due to his demeanor, and attitude disposition without the results. Bryce however is the model citizen would be the perfect face of your franchise if he was performing on the field. He's very likeable, so people think you bullying or hating on this kid when you point it out. No he's just not performing bruh, that's it!!!
