  1. I mean it was bad in it's performance but Heinicke deserves credit too he was making some Favre like throws with defenders draped on him. That dude got some moxy, felt like that when he was here.
  2. The defense was bad. But it wasn't that bad.
  3. He's on the field now. And playing his way to being some franchise's starter.
  4. They just beat the Goat a week ago. And we're a playoff team last season, that may actually be about to go on one of the those patented late season Rivera coached team runs.
  5. These sure coaches and front offices sure love to outsmart themselves. Instead of just going by what your seeing on the field.
  6. Yea he was in sporadically and Heinicke avoided his direction when was in. But apparently Rhule and Snow wanted to make it easier on Heinicke and kept him on the sidelines for a large chunk of the game.
  7. We gave up on Heinicke too soon because he got injured. He look adequate and much better than Grier and the other backups when he was called on.
  8. That sucks because we use to own the NFC East during Rivera's tenure.
  9. Oh so Cam had some defenders in his area when he dropped back to pass, shocking, that never happens in the NFL. Oh the ref called some bogus holding penalties, and apparently Washington Oline doesn't hold. Oh by the way we got Heinicke down more times than they got to Cam. So was Washington Oline worst?
  10. Coming to the realization that Darnold was holding the offense back, is not scapegoating, it was the truth. Now as far as Rhule's coaching goes that's another topic. The defense laid a egg today, and Heinicke played the game of his life. Even with all that we still had a shot because of Cam. I believe in this defense and think next week they will have a much better showing.
  11. This game looked nothing like those Darnold losses, if you guys don't cut it out lol. Today was just an issue were our best unit had a let down. If Darnold was in the lineup we probably get the doors blown off the stadium by Washington.
  12. Yea because the defense in those Darnold shitfest games actual played good enough to be ranked 2nd in the NFL coming into this game. The defense today was bad so your comparison doesn't even make sense.
  13. This is the worst defensive performance they've had, maybe Dallas was worst. But we would have definitely beaten the Giants, and Philly with Cam at Qb.
  14. Was it any worst than Washington, how many times was Heinicke sacked?
  15. The offensive line hasn't been a problem today.
  16. Damn so trotting Sam Darnold out there all those weeks has made our margin of error slim to make the playoffs. We would have beat the Giants and Eagles with an competent offense.
  17. They have an eraser at Cb in Gilmore, and they letting one receiver torch them. What kind of defensive game plan are they running.
  18. Where is Gilmore, how come we don't have our best cover corner on the field? By the way I always thought Hienicke was the best backup we had, out of the trio of Allen and Grier.
  19. But Teddy only got 1 year and the huddlez the rejoiced, am I right?
  20. The Panthers offensive line has given up only 1 sack the last 3 games, that's the least amount of sacks allowed in the NFL over the last 3 weeks. This offensive line play has actually steadily been improving, it was the subpar QB play that was the bigger hindrance.
  21. I don't think anyone is questioning who the better Qb is, the question is about which option gives us a chance for the best results. The options are implement a similar game plan as last week with more packages for Cam as he gets up to speed after being out of football for most of the season or let him try to win it on his own with what he's memorized regarding the verbiage and formations of Brady's offense in the 1.5 weeks he's been here. This is a win-win situation for the Panthers if Walker is playing competent it gives Cam even more time to digest everything before being handed the keys, if PJ struggles well we have a former MVP to turn to. Between the two we should be able to muster enough plays offensively to beat Washington. The coaches seem to believe in PJ as well as his teammates looking at the interactions on the sideline last game. I didn't catch the Detroit game last year, so this was my first time seeing PJ in real action he looked more than serviceable to me, outside of two bad throws he looked like he executed the game plan to a T.
