  1. Yea because the defense in those Darnold shitfest games actual played good enough to be ranked 2nd in the NFL coming into this game. The defense today was bad so your comparison doesn't even make sense.
  2. This is the worst defensive performance they've had, maybe Dallas was worst. But we would have definitely beaten the Giants, and Philly with Cam at Qb.
  3. Was it any worst than Washington, how many times was Heinicke sacked?
  4. The offensive line hasn't been a problem today.
  5. Damn so trotting Sam Darnold out there all those weeks has made our margin of error slim to make the playoffs. We would have beat the Giants and Eagles with an competent offense.
  6. They have an eraser at Cb in Gilmore, and they letting one receiver torch them. What kind of defensive game plan are they running.
  7. Where is Gilmore, how come we don't have our best cover corner on the field? By the way I always thought Hienicke was the best backup we had, out of the trio of Allen and Grier.
  8. But Teddy only got 1 year and the huddlez the rejoiced, am I right?
  9. The Panthers offensive line has given up only 1 sack the last 3 games, that's the least amount of sacks allowed in the NFL over the last 3 weeks. This offensive line play has actually steadily been improving, it was the subpar QB play that was the bigger hindrance.
  10. I don't think anyone is questioning who the better Qb is, the question is about which option gives us a chance for the best results. The options are implement a similar game plan as last week with more packages for Cam as he gets up to speed after being out of football for most of the season or let him try to win it on his own with what he's memorized regarding the verbiage and formations of Brady's offense in the 1.5 weeks he's been here. This is a win-win situation for the Panthers if Walker is playing competent it gives Cam even more time to digest everything before being handed the keys, if PJ struggles well we have a former MVP to turn to. Between the two we should be able to muster enough plays offensively to beat Washington. The coaches seem to believe in PJ as well as his teammates looking at the interactions on the sideline last game. I didn't catch the Detroit game last year, so this was my first time seeing PJ in real action he looked more than serviceable to me, outside of two bad throws he looked like he executed the game plan to a T.
  11. Haha that laughable the complexity of the QB position. Let's start with the basics don't throw it to the other team so much Darnold.
  12. If he doesn't get "IR'd" and Tepper doesn't step in to tell Rhule to get his head out of the sand. Darnold probably plays two franchises the Jets and Panthers to top 5 picks in the draft in back to back years.
  13. Teddy played way better than Sam on a worst roster and kept us way more competitive. Any blind man's seeing eye dog could see that. Only the Sam Darnold delusional fan club thinks otherwise. Teddy won another starting job after leaving here and still has them in the running for a playoff spot. Darnold will be lucky to win a back up role after this
  14. Teddy played way better than Darnold and caught way more flack than he probably deserved, and alot of it was coming from the now members of the Sam Darnold fan club oh the irony. All this Sam's broken needs rehab, blah..blah.blah.. no...he just can't play. Jamarcus Russell wasn't broken, didn't need rehab either, he just couldn't play. Their is a word for it, it's called a bust. Sam's been a bust since he's been in the NFL and after 4 years is no better than he was as a rookie, still turning the ball over at an ungodly rate. Maybe he has a career as a backup, hope he's not needed to ever start another game for the Panthers though.
  15. I disagree Cam can provide that spark and edge to the offense and be a force in the run game and red zone, and PJ can implement the full game plan that Brady wants to run. Washington now has to prepare for everything and not a dialed down version of the playbook.
  16. If the offensive line is so horrid as you guys make it out to be, wouldn't it have been on full display last game with Sam's backup PJ Walker taking the snaps.
  17. If the Panthers take care of business it won't matter what anyone else does.
  18. The Darnold experiment is as much of an indictment on Rhule as it Sam. I'm not too concerned about the lip service Rhule speaks about the matter. Darnold seems like a good hard working young man, not starting material in NFL though. I'm sure Rhule values job security so in that sense I think we've seen the last of Darnold.
  19. I'm not sure what all the hand wringing is about PJ did a good job last week against a good defense and has ran this offense for 2 years. Cam has been in the building for a week and 1/2. They ae trying to get him up to speed without putting the full load on his back. If PJ is incapable and making the offense sputter, then Cam will take the reigns sooner rather than later. If PJ doesn't sputter then that's one more thing defense coordinators will need to prepare for. The Saints have been running duel Qb's with Hill the last few seasons. The year Denver won the Super Bowl over us Manning was a part time starter. This isn't something new under the sun.
  20. My order would be. 1. 2013 the Panthers take on the Saints for ownership of the division, this game was the marked the first time in the Rivera/Cam era that the team a clinched playoff spot. Keuchly had about 100 tackles. 2. 2008 Panthers welcome the Bucs to BOA stadium with the division crown on the line. One of the best rushing displays in Panthers history took place by DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. 3. 2021 Cam's return should be electric this Sunday Panthers have a good shot of going on a run it starts this Sunday, the energy will be crazy. 4. 2011 Rookie sensation Cam debut against Super Bowl champions Green Bay. 5. 2003 week-2 Panthers put Super bowl champions Tampa Bay on notice that a new king of the South was emerging after a week of trash talk fest between Warren Sapp and Kris Jenkins. Honorable Mention: 2013 Monday night against Patriots, Panthers riding a 9 game winning streak. 2009 home opener against Philly, wanting to erase the playoff debacle of last season, Delhomme follows up with a encore performance.
  21. As far as regular season games this is up there. Also the Monday night Double Trouble game when we took over 1st place in the division against the Buccaneers.
