So I'm seeing some chatter on social media that the Canes will have new away sweaters this season. Anyone else heard anything on this, or is it just social media hokum?

Man I hope not. Bristol is like 4.5 hours away from Nashville, but there’s literally nothing there but a speedway. I just don’t see Nashville/Carolina having the same draw there as the Braves.

Too bad every owner can’t be Jesse Cole. He’s actively working to address ticket resale of Bananas tickets; in like trying to eliminate it and if I were a betting man I’d say he’ll figure it out. It seems like a simple fix to limit the resale value to face value if they wanted to do so. I guess they like their transaction fees too much. i stopped going to fanfest when they started assigning seats.

Another article released this morning by the hockey news talked about us being in on Karlsson. I think Seravalli said it would cost us Chatty (no thanks) or Walker (we had a good run Sean).

The Wild say they’re gonna match any offer. I don’t know what the deal would have to look like to keep them from matching, but I would suspect it would be steep.

Don't forget Tennessee. I think it's more of a bonus than an advantage. Top talent wasn't clamoring to go to Florida when they were in the cellar, these guys want to go where opportunities to win are. In this instance it was more important to stay together than go for the money. And I don't know how much it balances, but the state still gets their money, its in the form of sales tax vs income tax.
