    Chuba has always gotten too much hate. Likely due to the Rhule connection. He's a weapon as a runner but a liability catching the ball out of the backfield. He looked good yesterday.

    The second one surprised me. I know he's a rookie and this was his first start, but as advertised "doesn't make the same mistake twice" didn't show itself on that. Nothing to panic over yet, this season will be a (ahem) process.

    We used him beautifully on the opening drive and then just seemingly abandoned it. We have to get him the ball more frequently.

    Exactly. It was about as typical of a first start as you will find. There are always anomalies (i.e. Cam in 2011), but this entire season will have ups and downs. There are things to build on, but our expectations should be pretty low given the current makeup of our roster.
