  1. They're going to announce a trade with Houston for #2 and #12. While here for their visits, Stroud and Levis will attend the press conference where we'll announce our intentions to draft Stroud #2 and Levis #12. They will battle it out in training camp to see who is going to be Dalton's backup for the next two years.
  2. It says 4/12 for me, but yea it’s the same at the top as he put out ~1 month ago.
  3. Y’all act like you never see NFL QBs buying time moving around and out of the pocket. Also, wouldn’t you take Drew Brees at #1 if you could have?
  4. Do you have the same concerns for Caleb Williams? He led all P5 QBs in time to throw last year.
  5. According to some Huddlers, much deeper than Young’s arm strength can reach.
  6. I guess Luke is in on the elaborate smoke screening too. /s
  7. I’ve seen him throw 55 in a game with no forward momentum. Try again
  8. I’m getting to a point where I’m enjoying the tears from the anti-Young crowd. I don’t want to feel that way about a portion of my own team’s fans. Y’all need to get a grip. At the very least, read the threads you’re posting in so you don’t continuously post false info.
  9. I hate seeing this narrative that the Teppers are making the pick if it’s Young. That goes completely against what we’ve been told. Yes, it will be a collaborative effort, but ultimately Reich and Fitt will be making the decision. I feel like posters are pinning it on Tepper bc, if Bryce is the pick, they can’t deal with the fact that our veteran coaching staff prefers him over their guy. It would have to be owner influence instead of those posters poorly evaluating the best QB in the draft <eye roll>.
  10. Asim Richards with 4B or 5th round pick would be a solid addition. Like Christiansen, I think he’d eventually be able to fill in at multiple positions.
  11. As a fan of Bryce from the beginning, the whining from his haters in this thread is entertaining. Dude dominated in high school and won MVP of the all American game. Then he was great in college and won the Heisman over Stroud and others One game vs UGA and 4 inches/9lbs doesn’t change any of the above.
  12. You forgot to magically deduct ~20lb from Young’s combine weight to equal his hypothetical “playing weight.” Don’t do that for Stroud though. He weighed in twice so they’re all good there.
  13. How does this un-retiring work when someone was under contract? Do they have to sit out a year and then they’re a FA?
  14. I’ve seen some Stroud proponents say they’d be ok with a Young selection, but I’ve also seen some saying they’ll be done with the team for it. Those are those posters I was referring to. I also will be excited with either. I just think we’d regret passing on Young the most.
  15. Some of you are setting yourselves up to be devastated if we select Young. CJ is bigger Young is better
  16. I’m used to references of a War Room in the NFL being the room used on draft night. There’s no way this decision isn’t made before draft night.
  17. On scale with his opponents, Bryce is similar to Steph Curry. Have you seen football players stand beside shooting guards or bigger? Tracy McGrady vs Chad Ochocinco
  18. If we find a franchise QB, adding the 2025 1st to the package we gave up would still easily be worth it.
  19. I think it has more to do with the nearly $4mil check Tepper would have to write at signing.
  20. I don't feel like we traded away our future. It feels like we invested in our future (acquiring a franchise QB) without giving up too much. The 2025 1st will hit when we're potentially one or two pieces away. We have a lot of our future locked up or looking good right now.
  21. I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the Young vs Stroud debate may rage on for years following draft night.
