  1. Initially was going to suggest Chinn + a 2nd/3rd for Jeudy and Justin Simmons. I think it’s legitimate to question where Chinn fits in our new defense and if he can recapture his rookie year production. You can’t deny our need for pass catchers. That said, I’ll be happy if Chinn ends up a career Panther.
  2. Disagree with those plugging McCall into the starting DL. I’d go Burns Tuttle Brown YGM Luvu
  3. You mentioned Wilson, Brees, and Murray all being much bulkier. At their respective combines…. Brees weighed 9lbs more Murray weighed 3lbs more Wilson weighed the same as Young.
  4. Y’all serious? I’ve known this name since he was in high school. Tuttle replacing Ioannidis. Or with Brown sliding out.
  5. Necessary replacement for Ioannidis. Either Tuttle or Brown sliding out to 3T.
  6. I think 10-15 is reasonable and could be achieved over his rookie season. He weighs 204 now.
  7. That’s back when QBs could be rag dolled without a flag. Not the case now. I think Stroud may have a slight edge in accuracy within the pocket. It’s close though.
  8. And Flutie played 20 years of pro football (12 in NFL) at 5’10, 180. That was the point.
  9. It’s more about being a proponent of his skill.
  10. I wasn’t aware of the character concerns. I like his talent. I do believe Tank Dell could be a mini version of him in the 3rd/4th round though.
  11. Tough call. We could exercise the 5th year option and have him for two years. I’m struggling on position for Chinn but also would love for him to remain a Panther. We need offensive weapons badly though.
  12. Jeremy Chinn for Jerry Jeudy Would the Broncos do it?
  13. I feel like we’re kind of pulling that reasoning out of thin air though. Sure, we can look at their BMIs and hypothesize on what could happen. I would rather look at their personal injury histories as well as historical data on QBs similar to their sizes/playing styles and injuries. I think there are plenty of examples of QBs (Flutie, Brees, Wilson, etc.) who have shown resilience and longevity. Enough that taking the guy who is the better at playing the position (my opinion) should take priority. This is before we take into account the league really doesn’t like their QBs getting hit and have been adjusting rules to minimize QB injury risk.
  14. I wasn't interpreting anything from it. Just posting why there are some who think he’s headed to Tenn. I agree it could mean nothing, but there is a reason we haven’t heard about a deal yet.
  15. Hard to see, but check the white writing in the bottom right of the photo. The Titans need a center too.
  16. We can agree on that and also agree it’s not easy to acquire two firsts and a second round pick while saving over $20mil in cap space. What we did with those picks and the cap space would have decided the success of the trade. I honestly thought it would be Burns & #9 traded for #1 with maybe another 3rd thrown in.
  17. They haven’t. It’s OP’s best guess. The evidence for it… Trade up right after combine in which Young didn’t throw, but Stroud did. QB Coach comparing Stroud to Burrow in a complimentary breakdown video. It was reported that Reich likes Stroud and Tepper likes Young, but that was speculation and Shefter walked it back after someone in the Panthers organization told him we like ALL the QBs. lol But McCown was also extremely complimentary of Young. “PG on grass” comment from McCown and our new OC says he looks for a PG on grass in QBs. Also this: I don’t think anyone outside the front office knows at this point.
  18. If we were going to trade down to acquire more picks, I don’t think we would have given up DJ.
  19. I’d say a Super Bowl win should grant a 3 year minimum grace period from fans.
