Falcons special teams might be worse than ours, but still we’re the only ones to muff a punt. -

Did they have a choice? The refs blew it dead while the ball was still in the air. -

We must be the easiest team in the league to blitz. Our OL just does not get off blocks. Moton needs to shove off the DE there and slow down the free runner. -

Love trying to watch football with my young children when a commercial with a severed head comes on. How much would it kill them to keep it kid friendly? -

Lol this is the second thread on this video alone. Bryce sucking has got to be the best thing to ever happen to the huddle, never seen so many threads created. -
Bryce by the numbers(emotionless post)
WUnderhill replied to KaseKlosed's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bruh there’s like 10 Bryce Young sucks threads if we want to get into how many threads each side has to discuss in. That said, watching the game, Bryce Young looked bad. -
That’s my point, he was playing like an indecisive, timid little mouse because the game plan was to not lose the game. The coaches said to the team we’re scared so we’re going to shorten the game and play not to lose. Last year when they had nothing to lose they got him playing loose and they weren’t forcing a timid philosophy. He looked really good improvising after he came back last year. Not today. I don’t think that run the play clock to zero, get your offense down the field 3yds at a time, gameplan came from the QB, I think it came from Canales. I thought before today that maybe even if the season didn’t work out that Canales might still be a good head coach for the future, I’m not so sure now.

The gameplan was terrible and I think they fugged him mentally instead of doing what worked to get him in a comfort zone like he was the end of last year. It was clear they were playing not to lose the game instead of win the game and Canales was much too intent on forcing the run game instead of getting the offense in a groove. You could see it from the start: take the play clock down, run the ball, shorten the game, throw on 3rd down when you have to. But you can’t go a whole game relying on converting 3rd downs 6 times per drive or whatever. Every single first down took 3 full downs. I remember the first time we actually got a run for a first down, on first down (the Rico Dowdle run) the refs gave us a terrible spot and made it a 2nd and 1 instead, and then we snap the ball again at 0 and run the most predictable run play in the history of mankind and lose 2 yards now we’re back to a 3rd and 3 or 4 or whatever it was at that point. It’s not sustainable. He’s so concerned about protecting the ball but doesn’t seem to realize we’ll never win the turnover battle because we have a defense that doesn’t generate turnovers and an offense that doesn’t keep the defense honest. A knee to go into half time down 17 with 1 second on the clock? Come the fug on. That crap mentality has infected this team. The Jags went for it on 4th and 1 from their own 40 on the first possession of the game and it set the tone for the rest of the game. Why did they go back to what clearly didn’t work with Bryce and abandon what worked at the end of last season. Stop trying to force poo and play the game that’s in front of you.

Hot Takes Immediately After the Game
WUnderhill replied to Admiral Ackbar's topic in Carolina Panthers
They had some stuffs early but things opened up rather quickly after that. That 4th and 1 on the Jags opening drive was ridiculous and honestly If they ain’t playing mean and fast after that disrespect then we don’t have the “dawgs” that Morgan seemed to be going for. And the jags OL was completely stonewalling our pass rush. -

Why bring in another QB? You want another mid season turnaround to take us out of drafting top 5? Either ride Bryce into the ground or into the playoffs. Looking like the ground right now. -

He had a 4th down throw away his rookie year, too. I don’t get it. He looked timid again. Something about these off-seasons seem to have him so in his head. His mental is fugged, I think.
