I’d love to get a seasoned OC or Assistant HC for Canales. I feel like he’s doing a good job he just needs someone next to him to help him around some of the non-coaching parts of the gig that he may not quite get yet. People forget that a lot of McVays success came from having Wade Phillips to teach him how to be a HC

The sentiment here in Austin is starting feel like Sark was the problem not Ewers. A raw QB with zero expectations is exactly the type that should thrive under out “qb whisperer” HC

This makes me wish we took a flyer on Quinn Ewers late in the draft

Jets defense is better than what their record says. I’ll credit the bad QB day on us not establishing the run and trying to figure out the Hubbard/Rico situation on the fly. That being said we won and hopefully the coaching staff walked away with a clearer picture of what’s next for the offense now that we’re facing the hardest part of our schedule

I never said they weren’t. Hate how they ran the team but I’ve been more than pleased with DB and Horn even if I hated the picks at the time.

Chuba was a bright spot on the team during some dark times but we can’t reward him for that when another RB on the roster is giving us a better chance of winning. We need to ride Rico until he cools down. Chuba is one to make the most of limited carries and he can still contribute in a big way in a lesser role. Stop overthinking this Canales. 55/45 favoring Chuba isn’t going to work. 70/30 favoring Rico gives us an identity we so desperately needed for years

Thats exactly why I’m so giddy on the team. Carolina found its identity again. We tried Chuba against a weak team and it didn’t click. Use the fresh legs on Rico now to make a statement against Buffalo and get back to the hard nosed run game from the previous two weeks. Chuba will be an excellent change of pace of back and we’re lucky to have that luxury

I don’t think Fields is as bad as he’s shown. I whole heartedly believe his development was ruined in Chicago. He needs to take that step back and go to a SF or LAR and wait his turn again. He’s so behind the curve and needs some time studying the pace of the NFL behind a good QB (aka not Russell Wilson) and good offensive coach

I don’t see how people watched that game and come out saying that Bryce held the offense back. He’s not at that level yet but this is getting eerily and unsurprisingly familiar to “that” side of the fanbase clamoring for DA during the Cam era
