  1. Guess we made two mistakes. Supposedly Baker and Darnold are great. I didn't see it. Yeah the offense was vanilla but if PJ, Baker, Darnold couldn't score I think it's on them.
  2. Prediction. We will see what a NFL level offense looks like. Baker, PJ, and Sam could barely move the ball down the field. Bryce will have several 300 yrd games strung together.
  3. Chinn don't fit inside. Shaq, TD and Chinn all fit as OLB in a 4-3 but in a 3-4 they move inside and responsibility change. I hope Brown works as a DE cause otherwise with the rentals we have we may need 3 guys upfront and can stop worrying bout the linebackers. Shaq, Luvu and Yep Smith can hold down the inside and between the multitudes of options at Edge and designed blitzes from Luvu and the safeties we got on roster they should keep the pressure coming So the front three is where I wanna see a shake up. As a team coming into FA next year. Ya think we can find a NT or 3-4 DE on the cheap? Maybe the rentals become more long term. If a handful of players from this off season produce we will be talking bout using the cap to resign or extend folks.
  4. Next year we rule free agency. Moving up to one was huge. We will see if the draft works out for us this year. Next year is where we shed some dead money and resign the core but add too. Heck this year we were super active in FA and were working right at the cap. Chinn is a rockstar. He is the modern defense player. All the linebackers this year were basically based off Chinn. Or Micah Parsons. The oversized safety and the undersized but diesel DE is becoming the norm. That's why I wanted Jack. He is part of the next wave of quick but old school ILB.
  5. I like Jammie. I was holding out for a CB or ILB but they seem to like the depth and seem to want to strengthen the safety spot. Well done. Jammie gonna step right in for Xavier when it's time.
  6. Tennessee picking Will "Connecticut bred" Levis over Big Cody is a travesty. If Cody would not fit in and within a year become Mayor of Nashville or Levis bust and get sent out on rails were a bet. I'm taking Cody being a long time contributor over Levis being a Post-apocalypse warlord of the local populist dogma as a bet too. But anything is possible. But how bout Branch THERE to be selected? That's the dog I'm pulling for. LeVIS and his entourage were out once they agent sayed no one is calling and nobody in this area of the draft is super needy for a "developmental head case" QB. OUT they go.
  7. Another reach. Gibbs and the guard. Wow. But it makes sense in a way. They trying to run and get passing yards through the RB. It makes sense. But that Georgia humidity melts brains.
  8. Yep. Can play inside and out in a 3-4. His potential is still developing. With coaching he could be special.
  9. BJ seems to be a Seattle type of guy. But Avila was a target at 39. No O Cyrus yet.
  10. Honestly watching his highlights him and Kincaid are the new school style. I thought he was top three TE. Mayer might be a bit too old school for some but Baby Gronk is a nice pick too. Tight end run before our pick.
  11. Could end up a Buccaneer. Somebody at the tpp of the 2nd is gonna pick between Hooker and Will. For better or worse we got our guy.
  12. Some real talent on the board. Easily 5-7 corners with potential ( told ya so) Drew Sanders, Kion, Noah, and on offense Downs, Mingo, Washington, Musgrave, Kraft and Mayer. I was wrong bout the Tight ends. Or was I right if they so great why did only one go in the first? I like the idea of adding a O'Cyrus or Avilla but Chandler is also a option. I think the 2nd tier corners, and EDGE come off the board quick tonight. A run on tight ends and RB's as well.
  13. gonna go ahead and say it "I'm pulling for Bresee. Ella Strong." still don't like the Saints but... this kids story got to me. If he can stay healthy he could be the BEST DT of this draft.
  14. I'm mean. It's gold. Pure 28 carrot gold. Lol. Dude looks like a 80's bully in a movie. Like a Cobra Kai, skiing sweater on his shoulders, WASP whose daddy owns the ski mountain or country club. I'm not mean I'm pulling for the underdog. Hooker needs to be taken before Levis. Gboro kid likely never been on skis but he glides on the football field. Levis is mechanical.
  15. If we had not traded for Miles and stayed at 9 Bijan was on my radar. He is a rare talent at RB.
  16. The drip. The suits and jewelry has been interesting too. I'm holding judgement on that but Tyree was ready for Vegas.
  17. Why? They going flashy. Watch they picking skill but not QB.
  18. I agree. Houston is mortgaging the future for some immediate help and buzz.
  19. Top CB off the board. According to some Gonzalez is the top guy so... I hate the texans. They stole some of our thunder like a commercial break. Who picking next?
  20. Not a great value pick. Corrall and Eason compete for that third spot. When the Red Rider rides into the sunset it will be more of a priority. It may never become a thing if the number 1 works out.
  21. Tight end? Trading up for a TE. Dude we aren't ready for that kind of gamble. The Hurst hate is bad on here. We got starters at TE, WR and RB. Upgrades arguably at two of those positions without this draft. We can find a TE or WR later in the draft to develop. If we traded up I would hope it would be for a Corner or Edge instead.
  22. That's one way to look at it. A simplistic one. Another way would be the picks are like lottery tickets but with a bit of skill and some luck you can win twice.
  23. See that might be the disconnect I think Gibbs could be there at 39. Mayer won't but a value comparable player at the same position will. I like Addison and Zay as my top WR's, something bugs me bout JSN. He is a hell of a slot guy, but I think Adam is our guy in the slot. Agree to disagree but defense is way deeper. IMO.
  24. Who is this transcendental skill guy this year? Worthy of a expensive trade up. The trade partners at the bottom of the first are also likely to covet the guys. Bengals adding a Zay Flowers or Washington could break the NFL. Saints need a offensive overhaul too. They already off the board cause a interdivisional trade is unlikely. Looking at the teams picking between 13 down to 31. The teams that have two 1st rounders are happy to have those two and will likely use them instead of moving down into the 2nd. 17 to 26 seem like the sweet spot for your fantasy but this group needs offensive playmakers too I just don't see the value or the likelihood of a trade up.
