    The stadium surface has always been an issue. When the BCSCG with Cam was there, players were slipping constantly. That was 2011.

    Sure. Except for the fact that one is 4th all time in FG% and the other is 24th. Wanna guess. But it was genius to pay Gano 10M to not even play while Butker was the 2nd best PK in the NFL while on a minimum rookie deal.

    The Steelers are not built to combat the run. The Falcons ran for 147 and the Ravens 215(without LJ) in the previous two weeks. Their biggest weakness was on the DL. They are trying to replace their NT, 5DE and both ILBs. That’s not a team that was built to combat the run.

    Not before that year though. He was almost as big a surprise as Cam. Coaches didn’t see that coming. He was a beast though.

    I know. In Spring, I thought he might get us to 9-3. By the end of Summer, I said to someone “he’s a walking first down”. But it wasn’t until Clemson almost(and should have) beaten us that they took the training wheels off. Rest is history.

    That’s being kind. They had two other players on offense that were ever drafted . Lee Ziemba(Car) 7th B. Mosely (4th) 2011. SEC Leading rusher and the 2nd highest QBR in history to that point.

    That’s fair. Start the scoreboard after Rhule. Traded best offensive player for the equivalent of a mid 2nd rounder. Turned down 2 1sts, and 37 this year for the privilege of paying a player 25M+ a year. Let’s see how these work out.

    Yep. My statements are definitely not taking into account all the stories about Tepper y’all have told. But what little I paid attention to those, I remember always thinking why is this guy being “cheap” about anything? So he may be cheap, or spiteful, or both. I just wouldn’t want him pissed at me, no matter what.

    I agree. I’m sure Rhule has a solid case. But if at all possible Rhule should have made this move as privately as possible. Tepper just admitted publicly that he made a mistake. And the next day this hits the media. Doesn’t take much for a man with that much “power” to get petty real fast and make that new job much more difficult.

    Really? All those drunken rants and you want civil discourse? How about we go back to when Sam was signed and your comments. Which speaks to your credibility much more than some claim of wanting Mahomes.

    It’s the truth. No scout, GM, or coach in the NFL is judging a player on the outcome(not their specific performance) of a team single game. Much less those that think Darnold is/was the answer. Sorry about them feelings man…..

    To you maybe. No one that matters cares. Or Stetson Bennet would be a 1st rounder. I’ve never seen this Mahomes prediction but there are plenty of Sam Darnold evaluations on here from you to properly judge your ability to scout a QB.

    It really doesn’t matter if the guy with billion’s doesn’t think he should. I have no idea if he’s entitled to it or not without the contract. But he has a new job paying just as much that could be made much more difficult if Tepper decided to make a point.
