He’d 100% be getting the reps, just not the volume. I’m not trying to say I knew Nacua was going to be a stud because I didn’t, but he was very good at BYU. I’m not a BYU fan but for other reasons I watched the majority of their games and when he was playing he always stood out. I said in an earlier post that on a particular BYU broadcast I was watching, the commentator stated that Nacua was averaging a TD about every five touches. When I heard that I was intrigued with the kid. The problem has always been his ability to stay on the field. In training camp he had already passed Atwell on the depth chart, he was the WR3 heading into the season for the Rams.

Injuries are the name of the game for him. I watched him a lot at BYU and there was a point in his career that he was averaging a TD every five touches. Problem is, he only had like 20 touches because he was always hurt. Nonetheless, he’s on all my fantasy teams.

I actually drafted both but when I saw Kupp get put on IR I picked up Van Jefferson and dropped Tutu, that was a mistake. We have a taxi squad in this league so I was just storing both for the future.

Drafting Puka in the 25th round of my dynasty draft is the smartest thing I’ve ever done and that includes getting a masters.

I’d take Liberty over JMU easily. Liberty’s QB is a transfer from Tennessee that Tennessee is probably wishing they had back right now. Kid is third in college football with 12 total TD’s (9 passing and 3 rushing).

Mack Brown said Nate McCollum turned into Josh Downs today. When watching McCollum at Georgia Tech, he kind of reminded me of Downs. I think if he would have been in a more prototypical offense rather than an option offense then he’d have been more highly sought after. I wouldn’t be shocked if playing with Maye gets McCollum drafted.

It’s sad really, after the shooting last year I was hoping that they’d come back strong as a group but they look terrible.

Tennessee looks closer to the team that got waxed by South Carolina last year than the team that beat Clemson in a bowl game. So far, Tennessee’s beaten a dogshit Virginia team and an FCS team. In reality Tennessee is highly overrated.

That’s not crazy at all in college sports, it’s the new norm. Not to the level Colorado is doing it but the transfer portal is out of control. And he’s not winning with the shitty team that Colorado had last year. He’s doing it with elite transfers. You like him because of who he is but I realize that who he is, is the only reason he’s having success. He’s using his status to get all these elite football players to follow him. In reality, the players he’s getting were already good before him.

What team won 1 game last year? Not this Colorado team… this Colorado team has 70+ new players.

We’re in the modern day of where everyone wants to be first and say that I was first to believe this or do that, but I’ll go against that mantra. I need to see Colorado beat Oregon next week before buying the hype.
