On a positive note, the Hornets are doing really well on Zion.. Ingram and Valanciunas… not so much. Hornets need to keep N.O. off the line, rebound much better, and stop turning the ball over.

Alvarado is the type of guy that you love to have when you are down because his edginess and intensity can get you back into a game… he’s also the same guy that you wish would shut the hell up when your team is in control of the game lol. His barking seems have gotten the Hornets going a bit.

This fanbase has talked a lottt of poo about Hayward (myself included), but when he’s healthy, he’s all-around our best player.

I keep seeing McCaffrey’s assigned position as RB… just because the Panthers used him exclusively as an RB doesn’t mean San Fran will. I’d bet the farm that if McCaffrey was used exactly like Deebo Samuel is used, he’d statistically out perform Deebo, and I think most people would be in agreement that Deebo would fetch a first, even with his injury history (similar to McCaffrey in that regards). I think it all comes does to how you sell it, but I don’t doubt that if the Panthers wanted to string this out in the same fashion that the Texas strung out the Deshaun Watson saga, they probably could have come away with a first and fourth. I also don’t think it’s far fetched to believe that the Panthers did McCaffrey a solid and sent him to a place that he wanted to be.

Was just looking over the Pels roster, it’s pretty impressive. This definitely looks like a loss.

Home opener tonight, who’s watching with a couple of beers besides me AND James Bouknight?

I’ve watched UAB a few times this year simply because they are on tv and I absolutely love their running back, DeWayne McBride… 5’11, 215 lbs., runs like a bull in a china shop. Could be a late second rounder or third rounder.

I’d like to see a proper coach use him before trading him, play him closer to the LOS ffs.

Seems passive and disinterested almost. When he’s on he’s one of our best passers but man it feels like Aho and Jarvis are pulling dead weight right now.

Also, shoutout to Stefan Noesen, he’s quietly come in and recorded three points in three games, I believe at least two were on the power play. I’m hopeful that he eventually gets to play with Drury and that those two can build off of some chemistry that they may have built with the Wolves.

Need to figure out a way to get all the lines going, right now it’s the second line and friends show. Think the first line needs a net front presence and that a bump down might get Turbo going. With the group we have now, I’d go: Stastny - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - Kotkaniemi - Necas Teravainen - Staal - Fast Martinook - Stepan - Noesen I’d like to see the Canes call up Drury as well and see if he can provide a spark to the fourth line.
