Seems like a decent stop gap and mentor for Willis… everyone knows we are snagging Pickett so there’s going to be a fight for Malik.

Hreschuk had some early success with Boston College but has since struggled a bit. He probably projects as a bottom pairing offensive-defenseman.

Looks like we tried to get Domi, unsure if the deal went through.

I do not see a Stanley Cup in our future this year. We are limping towards the finish line just like we did last year and unfortunately for us we won’t be playing an average Nashville team in the first round this year.

The only thing that leaked was that we did indeed have interest in Domi but right now it doesn’t look like a deal is going through.

I also wouldn’t be opposed to acquiring Max Domi, we could use another poo stirrer on the team besides TDA. I know both are on the smaller side but as a tag team they can do some damage lol.

I mean put Marty on long term injured reserve to get his cap off the books until he’s healthy. Once he’s healthy we’ll have to do some maneuvering but we can cross that bridge when it comes since it appears he may be out until the start of the playoffs.

I don’t think we are ready to give up on Necas quite yet. There’s a rumor that a team has offered two second rounders for Copp but the Jets are waiting it out. I wouldn’t be surprised if the offer of the two second rounders is from us. Marty would have to go to LTIR and the Jets would have to retain at least 25% of Copp’s salary. So essentially a 2nd for Copp and a 2nd for the retention.

He still struggles with ball security though. 38 fumbles in 52 games is horrendous and that’s with a smaller football. Do his hands play a factor in that, who knows… but you would think the more surface area that you can cover on the ball and the more grip you have on the ball would help with security.

Believe it or not, Erickson was seventh in yards per punt return at 8.87 and Abdullah was thirteenth in yards per kick return at 22.28 In general the return game isn’t producing that many game changing plays anymore. Out of the top 15 players in yards per punt return, only one TD was scored, it was done so by Jakeem Grant. Kick off returns have a little more success with four TD’s being scored by the top 15 players in yards per kick return. Since the Panthers haven’t brought back Erickson and Abdullah signed elsewhere, I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave Shi Smith every opportunity to win the job.

You would think that wouldn’t be us since we don’t have a second this year but with this organization who knows… There’s also a strong possibility that Lynch is full of poo and trying to create a bidding war among desperate teams.

Meyer is now back at Ohio State where his primary job is helping OSU athletes secure NLI deals… this will surely end in an investigation into Meyer’s practices.

Time for a trade… give me one Andrew Copp and if they want to send us Pionk as well then I’m fine with that.
