Alright… updated deal… Carolina Receives - Max Domi (from Columbus) - Carolina is paying 1/4th of Domi’s salary Florida Receives - 6th Round Pick (from Columbus) - Florida is paying 1/4th of Domi’s salary Columbus Receives - Aiden Hreschuk (from Carolina) and Egor Korshkov (from Carolina) - Columbus is paying 2/4th’s of Domi’s salary Because of the retention, no one has to be sent to LTIR. Additionally for those that aren’t aware, Hreschuk was acquired with the pick that we got from Nedeljkovic. So in an odd way of thinking about it, Nedeljkovic landed us Domi.

We needed someone to retain. Florida probably figured that someone else was going to help us so they might as well and recuperate some assets since they traded nearly everything they had.

There were 33 deals in the que, they are backed up right now.

Not sure if that list is accurate. That list shows that he only fumbled 26 times. According to reports he fumbled 38 but lost 26. By all accounts it was three fumbles when he was running the football, that doesn’t account for fumbles in the pocket.

At the very least we are getting a guy who plays with an edge and is a good passer. If Domi gets back to his MTL days then we could really have something. Svech - Aho - Turbo Domi - Trocheck- Necas Nino - Staal - Fast Marty - KK - Stepan/Jarvis

It looks like Rhule might be grinning in that picture… either there’s a buffet behind Pickett or he likes what he sees.

Seems like a decent stop gap and mentor for Willis… everyone knows we are snagging Pickett so there’s going to be a fight for Malik.

Going to be interesting to see how this shakes out.

Hreschuk had some early success with Boston College but has since struggled a bit. He probably projects as a bottom pairing offensive-defenseman.

Looks like we tried to get Domi, unsure if the deal went through.

I do not see a Stanley Cup in our future this year. We are limping towards the finish line just like we did last year and unfortunately for us we won’t be playing an average Nashville team in the first round this year.

The only thing that leaked was that we did indeed have interest in Domi but right now it doesn’t look like a deal is going through.

Looks like he’s getting some pretty good velocity on those passes which is nice.

Not sure on that, just saw someone mention that he had 38 fumbles in 52 career games.

So Pickett just has ball security issues in general… not great.

I also wouldn’t be opposed to acquiring Max Domi, we could use another poo stirrer on the team besides TDA. I know both are on the smaller side but as a tag team they can do some damage lol.
