  1. Their logo is a 2-toned W. Name, Commanders. At least we just have Matt Rhule to deal with. That whole Snyder thing along with now such a comically bad create-a-team preset rebrand would have me jump ship. We should welcome DC area detractors to our bumbling fandom.
  2. To actually get all brand-splaning and designery about it--It is super generic and awkward to say. And the logo/merch leaks look awful. Also, a 3-syllable hometown & 3-syllable nickname is just clunky. 2-3, 3-2, 4-2, 2-2 all work, 3-3 rarely works. NE and TB are the only extensive ones, but both fit their areas. Washington Commanders just has a bad flow to it. This is pretty awful branding. Washington Hogs would have actually been pretty boss. Redwolves sure (the clear fan favorite). Or if military, really any other designation would have been better. Beyond the title, the very act of "commanding" instills ordering, authoritative direction. Just very odd.
  3. Devil's advocate--It happens a lot to more than just us. 2 of the best LTs in the league (Dion Dawkins & Dave Bakhtiari) were supposed guards at the next level and didn't fit at LT.
  4. I don't see anything too crazy to read into. When teams find a QB they want, they don't play some trade back and hope they still land them game. They choose the QB they want if they're in position to. We very well could be at 6 if they peg one of these guys franchise level talent and not just game managers. Unsure if they like any that much...yet. I don't think many teams are or will become enamored with any of these QB prospects so we very well could end up with one of the big-3 OTs. He's simply saying, if there's a QB they like, they'll get him.
  5. Pretty much. It’s dependent on if the FO thinks they found one. Bills did with Allen at #6, Shanahan thought so with Lance, the new Jets management likewise with Wilson. Guys that came rather out of nowhere until their final year or so in school. Although their size and arm combos put them above any prospects this year. There’s just no THAT tantalizing with this class.
  6. Also, being an Midwest based architect, I will personally offer to design Rhule’s house in Ames, St Paul, or Ann Arbour.
  7. I’m saying those coaches (Fleck & Campbell in particular) are the hot names being eyed for Michigan right now so one of those programs will be next with a vacancy.
  8. I doubt he’s getting a top program at the rate he’s going. It’d be better for him to jump before he bombs any worse.
  9. Better bet is either the Minnesota or Iowa State coach goes to UM and Rhule goes to one of those schools.
  10. I hate looking in retrospect buuuut they really could've just stuck with Cam for 1 year, 20 mil, and had all the money in the world to do whatever. Heck, even just not get into it with Teddy and keep him, would've saved a lot of trouble, picks, & money. One painful decision after the next. It really comes down to Darnold. Could be looking at having 9 picks this year. 1, 2, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7 and $18.9 million more to spend. That Darnold move really does look worse by the day. Then, I'm sure we could've been totally comfrtable taking a stab at a QB this year with that 2nd rounder or in a trade up while getting a top player in the draft elsewhere. That would be $45 million of cap pre-moves/restructures right now. Instead we sit at $24 mil.
  11. Wouldn't surprise me if the angle is to just make the Panthers worried. Everyone is concerned about the Rhule-Pickett connection, doesn't necessarily mean Pickett wants to come here. And with us loud and proud about being so tied to measurables, maybe this is his way to avoid us lol.
  12. Still, Most Valuable Player to their team this year is Cooper Kupp or Burrow in my opinion. Green Bay could’ve made the playoffs and immediately lost with many other QBs. Without Kupp or Burrow, CIN and LAR aren’t in this thing.
  13. Kupp is easily the best route runner, biggest film junkie and one of the best blocking receivers in the last decade. Triple crown winner and arguably the MVP this season (or it's Burrow). Screw Rodgers, it was a typical year for him. Kupp and Burrow made this season for the NFL.
  14. Burrow, Chase, & Kupp led me to my fantasy title and I'm continuing in rooting for those dudes. Panthers are out of it, don't come at us with the whole fandome spiel. It becomes fun to root for someone once your team is out. Bengals are a story. Burrow is great.
  15. Burrow is an awesome player but stop trying to make this exotic thing a thing. Stahhhp.
  16. If Cinci can’t stop them here, it’s looking like a KC-SF/LAR Super Bowl
  17. I opted for a player signed helmet. Chose Chinn for the autograph.
  18. Okay ThatsGoodSports lol I did miss him but addressed him in a post--Eagles aren't moving the demigod.
  19. I've seen him simply playing quiet this offseason with a lot of speculation around his attitude, conversations with Rhule, and general level of competency as an owner. One thing is for sure, and it seems he covets a leading QB more than anything, which is interesting since Rhule seems to believe he can make a game manager. That's why I think he could as just as likely said, "quit this sh*t and get a damn QB or you're gone"
  20. Are we confident this is what Tepper has set in place? I'm not.
  21. Minshew is possible but I see the Eagles keeping him behind Hurts and just building up that team with their high picks. They've actually put themselves in great shape this draft to simply nail high level talent. This isn't a top heavy draft, but it has a top-2 round talent pool around 70+. DL, S, WR, OL, and CB are all really nice classes.
  22. You're echoing what I think we'd all prefer and no doubt the apathy we've all developed. But at the end of the day, Rhule is coaching for his job so we're not staying put with Sam & PJ. I just don't see it.
