  1. This is the reason to keep drafting o-line in round 3-5 every year, so you have depth and don’t have to overpay for that depth.
  2. This is spot on, good analysis
  3. It will be really interesting to see Arch next year, he must the most hyped player in a long time
  4. There seem to be an unusual number of good 4-3 DEs in this draft. Not sure if Sawyer fits in a 3-4 or not. But I love him as a football player, he’s the type of player you want on your team.
  5. Can someone explain the undersized NT thing to me, I don’t get how that works?
  6. This is a really impressive one
  7. That would be a great pick, he might be my favorite for us right now.
  8. I’m underwhelmed, but I can see Canales reasoning. Also, would they find someone better or not? He just seem stuck in his ways and doesn’t seem to adjust. I also feel he doesn’t take advantage of a talent like Horn to allow him to travel with the best opposing WR etc. I also don’t like the smaller NT in his system. That all said, this is the year of a lot of coming upgrades on defense, so hopefully it will all work out. I’m thinking we might target Jalon Walker or Malaki Starks in the draft. Not sure where Graham would play in his defense considering we already have Brown and A’shawn as ends.
  9. We’ve seen it before, Lamb was running wild, on the opposite side of Horn, and no changes were made. An offensive coordinator’s dream. I agree that Evero was dealt a rough hand, but I also haven’t seen him try to maximize the few good players he has. In addition, after a year like this, everyone needs a fresh start, it is the best for both parties, no hard feelings.
  10. First of all, I hope you are doing ok, it might be good for you to step away a little bit. Again, it is common practice to try different approaches and measures the results. In this case he was benched with the hope it would help him to sit back and watch and learn from Andy. Then you can look at the results post that and measure results. This is a valid approach and not even up for discussion imo. Now, how you interpret the results is 100% up for discussion.
  11. Not sure I see the issue with only looking at the numbers after he became the starter again after his benching. He sat, learned etc. and now we want to see if something changed. Hence we will measure the new period post benching. This is common practice and used all the time. I understand you are bitter, but good grief man.
  12. I’d take Jalon Walker over Carter in a heartbeat at this point.
  13. Evero doesn’t believe in the monster NT, his system wants a smaller guy. I don’t get it, but it is what it is
  14. That was impressive by Michigan without their top 4 stars on defense. Also, is Wink Martindale looking to come back to the NFL
  15. Oh those poor elite SEC teams not qualifying for the playoffs herp derp lol
  16. If you are historically bad, it is probably time to go separate ways, no matter the circumstances.
  17. I think Saleh is a 4-3 guy, right? It is an attacking 4-3 that would fit Brown really well imo.
  18. I had two reservations against XL, his route running and his hands. His route running has been really good, which is both surprising and awesome. But until he can catch the ball on a consistent basis… It will be interesting to see if there is a big difference after his wrist surgery. Chuba improved a lot after working at it extremely hard, so maybe there is a chance?
  19. He is a rookie HC. It was a learning year for him as well. I bet things will look very different in year 2. I still think we found a good one.
  20. 4-3 all the way, draft Graham and 1-2 DEs (seem like a few decent ones can be had in rounds 2-3 this year). Both Wonnum and Clowney can play as DEs. Sign a MLB in FA. And finally let Horn follow the best WR the whole game. It would be an immediate massive improvement.
  21. I think it will be an amicable split, no nastiness or hard feelings. Both parties understand the need for a fresh start.
  22. This is spot on. The one thing that has me enjoying watching the games are the splash plays, and some clutch plays. We’ll learn what we need next year as that will be his second year in the system etc. A year of no excuses.
