  1. "Three 1st round picks not good enough? Well what about FOUR 1st round picks." "I'm a finance genius, trust me"
  2. They couldn't even do that when they had the last 12 years of Brees, they certainly won't with Watson and the gaping hole left in their roster and draft pick allotment.
  3. when watson is traded to a team that's not us can the fake insiders be traded from this board too?
  4. He couldn't do that against the Jags and Colts or Titans, and the 'Aints wouldn't have three years of 1sts and they'd be moving key defensive players, but sure
  5. i honestly think Saints are in it to goad Tepper into giving up even more picks and players as an easy way to harm our franchise further
  6. I'll make note of how much you appraise his abilities when he's in Seattle or New Orleans next year
  7. I hope he goes to the 'Aints and tanks their franchise instead of ours
  8. Some of you all can talk yourselves into anything. It’s on public record he doesn’t want to come here. Our situation is worse than any other suitor. Seattle has more assets. Reporting is that almost everyone around the league expects he lands in Seattle. Stop being delusional. and you know what? The same people pissing and moaning about it will be the loudest saying amen when Watson doesn’t drag a decrepit Seattle team to better than 3rd in the division and he gets injured
  9. some of you are going to be so mad when he is traded to Seattle, but will act like you never wanted him when they still miss the playoffs and fail to win their division
  10. How would we outbid Seattle anyways? Even if he wanted to come here, which he doesn't, they have much more capital than us now
  11. Seattle and Philadelphia will be bidding against each other to drive it up, and he'd much rather go to those teams than the smoldering crater Tepper has created here
  12. I mean we won't have the chance because ownership and coaching staff ran the team so far into the ground that a no-trade clause means no player comes here on their own free will
  13. Thank god Rhule and Tepper ruined the franchise so badly that no one wants to actually play here, and we won't overpay
  14. I still can't believe it. A second rounder... astonishing. That has to be one of the most lopsided highway robberies of all time, by the Jets.
  15. If this is true he better not let him draft a QB with the 1st rounder, or make any trades
  16. If you're going to say the Browns haven't been since 1950, then you have to treat the Ravens as an expansion team starting right around the time we did.
  17. Well let's see, we average an appearance every 13.5 seasons, which is above chance and probably optimistic going forward, but let's go with it. So in the next 50 years, well, our odds are pretty good, 97% we make at least one, and better than even odds we make at least 4. What about not so optimistic? Maybe we're like the Falcons, and we can expect one every 30 seasons. Then in that 50 year span, while we'd still expect to make at least one with 80% chance, and at least two or more with 50% chance, that 20% of not seeing one for the rest of our lives looms pretty large. And even if you get there, it's another coinflip hoping to win. If you plan on living for the next 50 years, you better hope the Panthers are capable of making a SB appearance at least on average one in every ~30 seasons or odds are more likely than not you'll never see a win for your entire life
  18. Top tier QB who i'm rooting for but his cinderella story is coming to an end against whatever defense makes his life hell in two weeks
  19. Jerry Jones is already on the phone asking him where he wants his office to be
  20. Burrow is a damn stud. The difference between him and the absolute three garbage signal callers we've brought in the last two years cannot be overstated. Darnold isn't even worthy to wipe his brow with Burrow's jockstrap
  21. means we'll probably bring in D. Jones to be a bum here too
  22. Of course i do, under the umbrella of roster decisions and trades as part of a coach's total job, then yes he's an absolute failure as a coach, no question, and he must go. But to a narrower definition of coaching on game day, i'm not saying he is Walsh, i'm saying even if he was, we would never know because of the situation he created in building such a crap roster, with the crap QBs as the cherry on top.
  23. Honestly I don't have much of an issue with Rhule the coach, I think that's mostly impossible to determine given the crap roster the last two years, my biggest problem is his horrid ability to identify talent or fair value given the bad signing and even worse trades of two absolute bum QBs the last two years. He could be Bill Walsh on the sidelines on game day but if he continues on his trajectory of misjudging talent badly across the board along with bringing in his Temple and Baylor cronies then it doesn't matter at all
  24. What difference does it make? He’s not coming here. Every other team opening has a better QB, while the Panthers have the worst collection of QBs in the league, and they certainly wouldn’t be on the hook for paying another coach for five more years
